Publisher's summary

Accidental space adventurer Cal Carver has had a rough few months. He's fought spider-dragons, battled space clowns, and been repeatedly tortured by the galaxy's oldest assassin.

And don't even get him started on the squirrel-tits.

Now all that's behind him, Cal just wants to kick back and relax. The universe, however, has other ideas.

He and his crew find themselves in possession of the Symmorium Sentience, a once god-like entity now stripped of its power. The Sentience needs help to return home and restore the Symmorium species, which recently found itself the subject of an unfortunate genocide.

But with dark forces seeking to turn the Sentience's power into a planet-pulverizing weapon, the team's trek across the galaxy becomes a desperate race against time, with the fate of the very cosmos at stake.

Featuring awkward space-dates, gene-splicing villains, and a packet of coconut fingers as old as time itself, Sentienced to Death is the 11th book in the bestselling Space Team series by multi-award-winning author Barry J. Hutchison, and perfect for fans of funny stuff happening in space.

Keep them coming!

Need more outtakes. At times my stomach starts hurting from laughing so much. These stories are not good for bedtime. You won't be able to drift off to sleep while laughing so much.

This series is the best!

I can go through these like skittles! They are fun and hilarious to listen to. I find myself laughing out loud all the time while doing my housework. My family thinks I’m nuts cause I’m wearing headphones the whole time. Listen to this series and and spin off ones of Dan Deadman. They are just as good. I love Phil Thron’s Narration. No one else could do it but him.

the 11th "AMAZING" book in a row

What can you say that hasn't been said. This series is awesome. The Dan Deadman series is awesome. Phil Thron shot up into my top 5 or 10 narrators just on this series. This series is the first series were I truly laughed out loud, multiple times a book, since Hitchhikers Guide.

Manchild is butthurt

The narcissist is melancholy not because he selfishly rewrote time and helped Earth become a interplanetary genocidal power but the fact the alternate timeline him was involved. He’s not bothered by the evil Earth it’s because other him was part of it.
Other than that the book has all the humor and the great cast of secondary characters that have made this series tolerable.

Absolutely loved it!

This cast of no win characters is just too fonking much! I also just die laughing at the end over the blooper reel, Mr Thron just laughing and cursing Mr. Hutchison is just too much! I can not remember when they added these in but they are extremely priceless, and anyone who is on the fence about listening to these books should try one just for the bloopers if nothing else! I typically listen to books while my wife is sleeping and this series is on the cant do that list because I will break out in laughter waking her up. The pace of the stories is always good, and for me they always end when I think they should, we get to a point were i am thinking hrm, should be only a few chapters left now ,and I check and its always so. Some books I do that with and find another 20 chapters and I groan because they are getting bogged down! This is never a problem with these SPACE Books, no sir, you can listen to space books, read space books, heck I am sure you could theoretically color in the space book, but at the end of the day we all know there about SPACE TEAM, and these sad sacks are the greatest heros the universe will never know about!

Somehow the Books Keep Getting Better

Not quite sure how he does it, but Barry Hutchinson keeps putting out fun books. I keep expecting the next book in this series to be the one where I get tired of Cal Carver's misadventures or when it finally gets old but the jokes keep me laughing and the plot twists remain surprising. Add on top of that Phil Thron's narration with all the fantastic voices and somehow, against all logic, this series is actually getting better the longer it goes.

This series is amazing!

This book series, unbelievably, gets better with every book! It’s probably my second fav series behind Expeditionary Force. Phil Thron is now ranked 2nd as my fav narrators go,
behind the great RC Bray. You will not regret getting this book...but of course, you know that...because this is book 11 of the series.
