unusual love story. great narrator

i am acquainted with manga and love the French cajun character. unusual twist to put them together in a love story. the narrator was tres manifique

Well Done

The story was drug out in spots but captured the reader effectively and drove me nuts with the characters back and forth with each other but the finale was great.

As a reader...It was a curious journey. The plot although somewhat predictable was saved by the much more revealing discovery... Being from the "south" and having left for reasons I'm only beginning to question much less understand. I completely identified with the south"s not so subtle judgemental undertones and the tragic traumatic consequences of a whispering second guessing indecisive self esteem. I loved the slow evolving self discovery and vulnerable willingness to embrace intimacy's beauty as it's own self evident truth. It left me wanting, hoping the author had written more novels... happy binging🤗

This book not only had me laughing out loud it also had me on the edge of my seat scared for both of our protagonists... I even wondered briefly if the writer was toying with us!.... but all in all
a wonderful book.

I love EVERYTHING about this book. The accents, the characters, the emotion, the erotic scenes even the villain! I'm so happy to have discovered this book. Totally worth the listen!
