Publisher's summary

The town of Willow Creek is seemingly free after Remy's sacrifice set off a life-altering chain of events that resulted in the demise of most of the world's vampire population. Sabine flees to her home afterward, except her family has disappeared and a "For Sale" sign is planted in her front yard. Just when she thinks she's lost it all, she's summoned back to Willow Creek Manor. Confused, and almost certainly walking into a trap, she reluctantly returns, only to find that the king of vampires still lives; and he is none other than her Remy. The dead love of her life is alive, but he doesn't quite seem like the same man. With the help of a witch, a ghost, and a longtime enemy, can Sabine bring back the man she fell in love with or will she lose him forever?

It’s a great concept

I really liked the ideas for these stories but I feel that it overall fell flat.

Great Trilogy but too Short and too many credits

I loved the trilogy but it was too short. All three books together average 14 hours & that is the same as many individual books. So you must decide if it is worth 3 credits for this series. Although I loved the series, in hindsight, I'm not sure that I would spend 3 credits for it. I bought mine as Kindle Books with whispersync...so I didn't spend quite the cost of 3 credits - but almost. I can say that I have wasted my credits before for lesser books and I did love this series. I'm just torn between the good book they are & the cost.

What would you endure for the live of a lifetime?

Finally embarrassing true love only to have it lost, just out of reach. Betrayal from the ones you trust the most can hurt so deep. Can you keep the hope and faith as Sabine did to get your happy ending?

Wow

I think she needs to make another book. I want to no what they do in the future. Is she a hybrid(a mix between a with and a vampire)? Does she go see her frien in New York? There's so much that could be in the next book.
I still loved this book!it was very good and had a lot of detail!

ADDICTIVE, FULL OF ACTION... BUT TOO DAMN SHORT

Sabine has to return to the Mansion where she witnessed so much horror and saw the love of her life die. But now she's getting texts asking her to quickly return and when she does she's blown away with what she sees.... Remy's back and he's sitting on a throne - but the scary thing is his eyes.... instead of being the usual beautiful green they're black as night. And that's not the only thing that's changed about him - now he's cold, ruthless and doesn't care at all about Sabine or her feelings, or their relationship or anyone else. Coupled with this she can't find her family, her friends aren't returning her calls and she's only got weeks to become a Witch.

After a lot of angst, heartache and drama all roads lead to only one conclusion but it's going to take a lot of magic, co-conspirators and a great deal of luck because the only way that they can get the old Remy back is to summon a Demon with a grudge. However, things don't quite go according to plan and someone has to make the ultimate sacrifice otherwise Remy's going to be dragged into the Underworld.

A riveting and very enjoyable listen that has heartache, pain and broken dreams as Remy and Sabine struggle to hold on to the love they had but it's almost a lost cause. Thankfully their friends come to the rescue.... but their struggle is great. This was a non stop listen for me which was told mainly from Sabine's POV and the true magic was not delivered by the Vampire Lord, the Witch or the Shapeshifter.... no, it was Joel Froomkin's narration that made this listen stand out, the characters come alive and the plot was magically turned into a wonderful listen.

Worth a credit? Yes, but once again, I didn't use a credit but just bought it because of the price. I'm sad to say goodbye to Willow Creek and all it's inhabitants but wonder what this Author is going to give us next.
