It was ok

I have mixed feelings, about everything lol, the narrators were ok, although you could hear a lot of breathing and gulping. Anyway, the story was a bit slow which is understandable for a series but I don’t know lol, it was ok.

One of my favorites

This is only the second time I have fallen so in love with a book, I bought the second to actually read because it's not on Audible yet. it's absolutely amazing.

Surpringly good!

Loved the twist on the Vampire and Witch lore. I'm excited to start book 2 and see where we go from here.

Not a fan of the narration style. there are few male narrators that can accomplish a good female voice and this is true in this version as well. Wish it had been a duet.

Excellent Storyline!

I was actually impressed with this book! The whole story is on another level. I'll definitely be waiting for the 2nd book! Great job, narrators!

WHY have I never heard of this series? IT'S SO GOOD!

No one in my book girly group have ever heard of this series, yet it's better than any of my recent reads.. I'm telling everyone to read it, the hard part is waiting for SOMEONE to get to it so I have someone to talk about it with..

spicy!

I loved the story, plot and characters. Lauren's narration was amazing! Simon's was not as amazing sadly.. It was hard to tell what character he was speaking for unless it was a woman's voice he was doing. the spice was great! I enjoyed the book, sans the male narration.

Great story

story was great but the male narrator was soo dull I wanted to forward through his part! the female narrator was great. hope the second book comes out soon

Immediately bought the second!

This story was really interesting and kept my interest. I immediately bought the second when I finished this book.

Anime or a comic book

This story would have been better as anime or comic book. Chapter 5 and I’m killing myself here trying to get through it because a friend gave it to me. Chapter 5 and the story has not developed any, still don’t know wtf is going on besides hard d*cas on vampire princes. It’s like porn version of Twilight.

Could have been better but, Boring

The narrators were ok. They were not the best but not horrible.

The issue was the slow pace of the story and the agonizing repeated thoughts of the characters over and over. This story is the definition of beating a dead horse. They had to have the same conversations in their heads, then with each other ....MULTIPLE times. I groaned everytime somone went off on another marathon of explaining their emotions.

Events happening in the background had potential. but anything that resembles plot was destroyed by the main characters literally not getting out of their own heads.

Can't do another book like this. Wont continue the series sadly.
