ENJOYED THOROUGHLY

The sultry voice of the commentator was a joy to listen too. She made all of characters come to life. I hung to her every word.

These stories are good. Not really my favorite kind of story but there very good for this type of story

Solid and satisfying (but those ‘s’s)

I’m pleased I spent a credit on this book. Being from Seattle, I enjoyed Kohout’s hat tips to the sex positive community in town. There’s at least some variety of tone between the stories.

Kilne’s performance was solid but not quite as good as her reading of “The Institute, Daddy Issues” I saw other reviewers remark on an excess of plosive S sounds that pierce the ears and I agree.

Wow, fantastic series of short Erotic stories

Well written short stories that keeps you listening. The narrator did an excellent job with all the characters, these stories are about the Greek Gods and goddesses. It all starts with Melisandra Black who was Heidi's Right hand in vengeance n Death until she is cast out from the under world. Now waiting to get back in Heidi's good graces, she has created the perfect tropical haven where her guests get exactly what they need. Stories have lots of Erotic sensual scenes. Well written story that keeps you listening. The narrator carried the story and characters through nicely and was a pleasure to listen to. I don’t usually listen to books in this category, but will be looking for more from this author in the future.

Erotic fun for Everyone!

What did you love best about Avernus Island: The Complete Series?

The third story with Rhodes was by far my favorite. It had all the fun of thy mythology surrounding the entire series.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The mythology was really great! I have read many stories surrounding the Greek gods but this was a bit of a new take and kept the stories interesting.

Did Sierra Kline do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

The reader was good, but when you are not in the middle of one of the erotic scenes it detracted from the story a bit. Almost sounded like every sentence was sexual in nature when it was supposed to be funny.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think the part where Rhodes meets with Poseidon and he explains why he wasn't physically with her but with her in spirit always.

This book had me squirming in my seat and kept the flow of all the stories really linked. Great Listen!

Never got passed the first few chapters.

Struggled to get into the story but could never get passed the first few chapters. I couldn't get into the feel of it and would have to stop out of boredom. I gave it 3 credits because it seemed unfair to judge what I never finished.

The stories were great and I enjoyed each of them. I loved how they were somewhat related to each other.

I never knew what would come next in the stories.

What does Sierra Kline bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved the voices she came all the characters. For me, this helps an audible book come alive while listening.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed at many times. I really wish the sex scenes varied more. I would be driving my car and a sex scene came on so I would yell "Balls Deep!!"

Not your average erotica...

Story: Something for everyone in this series of satisfying nibbles. A rich setting with fun characters and steamy story lines makes this an exciting listen in more than one way. The undercurrent of danger and the gradual reveal of what’s really going on at Avernus Island keeps the listener engaged throughout the entire arc. I’d never read any of Jennifer Kohout’s works before but now I’d be intrigued to pick up others.

Narration: Sierra Kline elevates everything she reads and nobody pulls off racy romance like she does. She clearly differentiates Kohout’s nuanced characters, male and female, with appropriate humor, tenderness, and sex appeal.
