Great

I was not as fond of the second and third books in this series but they were pleasant enough. I really enjoyed the first and last books. The middle books helped to understand who the characters were throughout however and so I’m glad I read them.

Sweet Romance

Well written, good story line, no steamy adult scenes that make me feel uncomfortable and awful. Very safe for all ages. Georgette Hayer would be proud.

Characters you’ll love and a story you’ll miss when it’s done

I love this whole series and it’s awesome that Griffith finally gets his turn! It was neat to get a glimpse into historic politics in a way that impacted the story! I loved it! I hope to hear of this couple in future books in the series so we can see how they’re doing and what they’re up to!

Loved This Delightful story!

Oh my Goodnes! This story brought me to deep belly laughs several times at the utterly absurd tangles, misunderstandings and befuddlement that The Duke went through in his pursuit of Miss Sinclair and getting tangled up in an attraction for her cousin, Bella. The story brought a lot of chuckles in other parts and I loved how the Duke works through the tangled web and solves all the blocks to his winning the love of Bella. And I especially loved Bella’s final declaration of her love and acceptance of the Duke’s suit! I loved this final book in this series and glad that Griffith got his chance at love.,The author penned a delightful finale to this series.

Perfect blend of brilliant author and narrator! It was such a joy to read and now listen too. Enjoy with confidence!

This book had it all! Drama, Comedy’,romance!

Splendid!

A very satisfying end to this series. I loved how big strong always in control fell victim to love. It wasn't part of his carefully researched plan, despite his family legacy.
I felt very bad for Isabella. Her manipulative uncle, the pressure she felt.
I thought the author does a wonderful job of showing how we should trust God with our lives and not lean on our own plans. The book is not at all "preachy" but the lessons learned are very natural for this family of faith.
Simply said, I loved it!

A Wonderful Series

The “Hawthorne House” series was my introduction to Kristi Ann Hunter’s writing. Her books create a lovely adventure that captures the imagination. Her characters have depth and breadth which makes them interesting. I look forward to reading her “Hearts on the Heath” series.
