Great clean read!

Loved it! Loved reading about the sisters’ different personalities and courage to get ahead in spite of adversity!

I felt a part of a very sweet story well written and narrated. Clean it wholesome love this book.

Strength amid adversity

Another wonderful story by Julie Klassen. This story highlights the struggles that might be had if the family patriarch passed away. If you like “can do” spirit in your characters, you will not be disappointed. The bonds of family is a strong theme as well as not judging based on appearance. Eagerly anticipating the next book.

Not my favorite story by this author. It took me some time to understand how the characters all worked into the plot

Hard to imagine People who live by the sea and cannot swim. But in that era many women did not go into the water.

A wonderful easy listen

I was hesitant to get this because it’s so long, but it didn’t feel long! I really enjoyed the story, took me about two weeks to get through while I was doing chores and I enjoyed it a lot. Some humor, some touching moments, some excitement, some romance, a little mystery, and definitely some things left Unsaid! I want to read the next one now.
