An Arrangement of Sorts

Very clean story, only a few kisses! Not much action, mostly character driven, exploring the developing feelings between the H/h. Most conflict was readily dispensed with but the 2 people were so lovely it was still an enjoyable listen. With all the conflict in the world today it was nice to escape into a quiet, gentle story.

The narrator did a good job overall; she had different voices for everyone & switched easily between them. Mostly she portrayed the emotion of the characters well, but she tended to whisper a little too often than I thought was appropriate. I got a little sleepy from time to time. I wouldn’t let it stop anyone from listening, though!

There were some editing glitches where the narrator read a phrase then paused & read it again, things like that that didn’t get cleaned up, but it wasn’t annoying. Overall, a good listen, taking all of the above into account.😊

An unexpected delight

If you love romance, this book is for you. Well done! Jessica Elisa Boyd is a marvelous narrator!

The narrator had good accents and distinguishable characters. The plot was engaging albeit predictable. I would listen to this book again.

super cute, funny and sweet. absolutely loved it! the main character is super witty and Corky as well as stubborn, which makes for a fun book wgile she banters with her companion!

I loved the story, it does drag on. They’re 80% of the time on a horse. But I really enjoyed their conversations 😌 so romantic

Have listened to it several times.

Wonderfully written clean romance!

Some of the mores of the era are blatantly overlooked, but other than that, the story is rich and the plot a believable one. The characters don’t change so that an HEA can happen. They remain delightfully true to who the author introduces at the beginning.
