Good story but what happened with her job and her friend Vicky getting her HEA?

Fall in love with real people

I loved the book. I’m becoming a fan of Lara. The narration was just ok. I wish Lara had added more to the epilogue. It would have been better if we went a few years forward to show that the heroine finally landed her dream job. This was her main insecurity it would have been more satisfying knowing that she conquered it. The Epilogue should have also extended to the supporting characters as well, and even knowing that the ex got what he deserved

Good Story. Sucky Narration

I did not like the female narrator. Her voice was to high pitch. It was hard to listen too. I finished only because the story was good.

Great girlfriend billionaire story with a different twist

There are numerous books out there about billionaires and girlfriends, but this had a little different twist, which was interesting and kept my attention. The other great thing about this book was that it was performed by real people and not AI where lots of times you can’t tell the mail from the female voices.. after I leave this review, I’m going to look for another book by this author.

Good story

I liked the story. The narration was decent, but I wish the female narrator would have distinguished more between voices. It would have enhanced the experience. The male narrator does a good job. I thought the writing good, and the storyline was as well. The main conflict was a little lackluster for me, so I do wish there had been slightly more excitement in there - more than “we can’t tell anyone”.

That being said, there was a good twist near the end that I liked. I do wish there were more books by this author on Audible (yes, I read and liked the other one), because I would definitely read more!

Cute couple

Kinda wished the ex had been mentioned getting his just desserts. No closure from that front the friend bit made me wince. I don’t know how common it is for bff to crap over each other success.

This is not my normal romance genre, tend to stick with fantasy or science fiction. Even so it kept me interested enough to finish the book. Absolutely loved the main male character. Is this dude a golden retriever? If so I will have to find more like him.

Also the friend is kind of jerk , she acted all mean to a Ava because honestly she was jealous, ladies we should strengthen each other’s crown not break it
