This book was everything! I tried to guess ahead to try and figure out what was going to happen next but it was nonstop enjoyment. I enjoyed everything about this story, I had to understand Dez's attraction to Yarney knowing the big age difference, but I was a million times more appreciative as to how respectful he was to not just her feelings but as well as to her mother's feelings also and for that he had my heart from the beginning. The narrator was amazing never once lost my attention.
I would love to hear how they grew together, how her mother and Sam made it through with her new upscale dining, how Joyce found love, how Yarney became the high power lawyer she worked so hard to become and take down the higher power individuals from the tapes her mom recorded, how Dez new found freedom made him even stronger than ever, how Kara got clean and put God as the head of her life, about kids and much much more that could have unraveled.

Exceptional!!!
Nikki has a gift for telling stories that leave you wanting more and more. I loved the devoted Yarny. She lived her life but held it down with her man Dez. It remind me so much of my own true life situation. However, I could never cheat or dream about being with another man while my husband is locked down. Of course, my personal situation has different circumstances as well. I'm truly in love with Nikki Turner. Best wishes and blessings my Sistah!!!
