Entertaining!

I was pleased with both of the narrators and with the actual story line. This book developed well; nothing was drawn out or suspenseful. Listeners can relate to both of the main characters, who are hiding secrets from each other and from the world, but who fall in love with each other despite their flaws. The ending was sell served by the author. I look forward to buying her sequel. I highly recommend this book to everyone who is not perfect but who is at least honest about it.

Worth it!

This was a very well written book! I loved it. The female narrator made a lot of smacking nosies that was hard to listen to, but all in all it was a great book.

Great Book!

I loved this book. Although there were a lot of pauses by the narrator, overall, they both did an excellent job. Can't wait to listen to the sequel "It's Like That".

Good listen

ok, this is a good book to listen to, but it made my skin crawl listening to both of the narrators swallow and smacking in between lines. I kept listening to find out what happen at the end.

Originality

I enjoyed this very much. A beautiful story about being steadfast in your love for another person. Acceptance, compassion and understanding, are all imperative elements for unconditional love. Not to mention one of the main characters; Porter had me laughing out loud. His logic really appealed to "my type" of humor. Good read... :)

Beautifully told story of two perfectly flawed people

I loved how the author took her time and told each of the main characters back stories. I loved that this book was in no way predictable at all. Can't wait to get into the sequel which I'm starting in five minutes. I pray it does not disappoint. The narrator's were awesome I just hope the next book the microphones are turned downed. We don't need to hear every swallow and every breath, I even heard a car horn and coughing in the background.

Great read.

Great read. Great performance. Only thing I disliked was hearing the narrators constantly swallowing their saliva as they read. They should edited that out.

Okay story

The story was okay and I say that because just listening to this lady kids disrespect her and she still rewarding them drove me insane. Second the female narrator kept swallowing into the microphone which made it outright disturbing.

Female narrator needed water

it was ok. I heard coughing in the background. the narrator sound like she needed a cup of water. I believe this is the worst audible I have heard. as much as I don't want to use my credit ; I must for a sequel if there is one. overall the story was good. female narrator gross.
