Entertaining!

I was pleased with both of the narrators and with the actual story line. This book developed well; nothing was drawn out or suspenseful. Listeners can relate to both of the main characters, who are hiding secrets from each other and from the world, but who fall in love with each other despite their flaws. The ending was sell served by the author. I look forward to buying her sequel. I highly recommend this book to everyone who is not perfect but who is at least honest about it.

Worth it!

This was a very well written book! I loved it. The female narrator made a lot of smacking nosies that was hard to listen to, but all in all it was a great book.

Good listen

ok, this is a good book to listen to, but it made my skin crawl listening to both of the narrators swallow and smacking in between lines. I kept listening to find out what happen at the end.

I wanted to like it

I did like the storyline. HOWEVER, the lady narrator makes it so hard to enjoy the story especially when you have in headphones. Between her heavy breathing and her spit swallowing and her smacking (like shes eating or chewing gum) makes it so hard to enjoy the story. I almost quit the book so many times just because of her.

Story salad! A bunch of subjects in book form.

This book struggled. The story was going in different directions without exploring the subject... I don't know if this was a love story or an std/sexual abuse recovery guide. With focus, it could have been way more interesting than it was.

Great Book!

I loved this book. Although there were a lot of pauses by the narrator, overall, they both did an excellent job. Can't wait to listen to the sequel "It's Like That".

Originality

I enjoyed this very much. A beautiful story about being steadfast in your love for another person. Acceptance, compassion and understanding, are all imperative elements for unconditional love. Not to mention one of the main characters; Porter had me laughing out loud. His logic really appealed to "my type" of humor. Good read... :)

Enjoyed Story Line

Enjoyed the book, despite struggling with the spit gurgling of the female narrator Karen Chilton. Advise do not try to listen while eating.

Good Story

The story was very entertaining and I was glued to the story. There were a lot of great twists which made the story unpredictable.
