J-Rite is 100 percent blackhearted. New to the city of Grand Rapids but not new to making money, she was born a straight gangster. The pint-size exotic dancer turned street hustler is caught up in living the black American hood dream. She has no "off" button or filter when it comes to getting paid. With a team of murder-minded goons ready to do nothing but win, win, win, J-Rite makes enemies of everyone, including the man she loves, all because they dare to stand in the way of her being on top.

The book jumped around a bit, meaning some parts were skipped that I personally felt could have been explained more in depth. But i definitely enjoyed the book and the narrator.

Pretty good book

Slow at first but it was a good story line. Would be nice to have a 2nd book. And I think Lisa got the shitty end and j right couldn’t have been any luckier.
