I have some direct experience when it comes to enneagram and I'm recommending this. It has good takeaways any beginner won't have too much of a hard time beating it into their heads.

Enneagram!

Come to think it. Oftentimes I get disappointed when I don't live up to my expectations or the expectations others have for us. Whenever this happens, I feel really terrible and it isn't normal anymore. Consulting on this audioguide enlightened me in so many ways. I'll have to recommend this to others.

Feels like an abridged book

Narrator kept saying how in previous chapter he went over in depth the system or each profile but there was no such thing. I’m not sure what’s going on but it seems like there is missed content like maybe an appendix that’s not being read in the audio book. It ends up just being a sales pitch for the enneagram system.

How engaging.

This is the system I’ll be happy to spend days or even months to study. Imagine, with the aid of this book, I get to understand more of myself and others, too. I can’t imagine how many millions of people this can help! Some of the things I’ve learned here are actually mind-blowing.

The book may be complete, but the writer of this simplified audiobook made it in a manner that is simple to comprehend.this is my first time to encounter enneagram, but I'm beginning to take its points already.

At first I became attracted to the book cover of this. So simple but intriguing. As for the content, as expected,

This audiobook does exactly what it promises to do, and the narrator voice is easy to listen to (perhaps slightly monotone but not off-putting).

The book provides:
- the history of the Enneagram, the basics of each type, the movements, and subtypes.
- describes underlying patterns that influence the way you and others behave
- provides some tools to discover own enneatype and others.
- a basic understanding of the Enneagram

For someone like myself exploring my ennea type through coaching this provides very useful context. I think that without a coach to explore and further understand some of the concepts, further reading may be required as this is quite high level overview - which is exactly what I wanted.

Was easy and quick to listen to/read.

Improve negative patterns.

Ever since I heard about Enneagram months ago, I always thought there's something unique about it. True enough, with Enneagram, I get to accept and modify certain negative unconscious patterns.

It raises awareness.

What I'm after is the generalized details. It is not limited to intimate relationships which most Enneagram books are.
