If you need reasons why this book HAD to be written, put my name on that list. As I have been on my own journey with my own traumas, both generational and not, it still amazes me, although it probably shouldn’t, when something just hits me. That epiphany, or God-wink as a friend has labeled it, that smacks me upside the head like I needed a V8. Your book resonates with my soul and was exactly what I needed to hear right now. I know you apologized for the delay in the book, but I needed this book at this time, so I think the timing was perfect! Thank you for your humor and beautiful words!

I am recommending this book to everyone I know. I am even going to get my own children to read/listen to it. While I was always open with them regarding my struggles, I know I have passed down some of my trauma to them. It often feeds into my own cycle of depression that I couldn’t love them enough to mitigate my damage, my brokenness. This book helps give me hope that despite all my flaws, love is enough.

Getting in touch with what matters

Having had my own struggles with depression and anxiety, and still do, reading Mr. Levi’s story was a breath of fresh air – knowing I’m not the ONLY one. Also knowing that those with things we might not have, such as fame, money, etc., aren’t exempt from such illnesses as depression and anxiety also helped me not feel like I was the only one. Thank you Mr. Levi for your transparent and poignant pages of life-giving, life-affirming, and life blessing words!!! May the blessings of our Father continue to be showered upon you, and may they continue to heal you!!!

Way to go Zach!

This book was raw, vulnerable, and healing. Great job! He may have opened up a whole new career opportunity. I've rooted for this guy since Chuck. I've prayed for him during his rough times, so glad to see he's making such remarkable progress and I've always loved how he's always been there for anyone who needs it. He's so talented in so many ways, with so much to share. Glad he's on a good path and sharing what he's learned.

To summarize a life lived in 5+hrs

I needed to hear many parts of this life story. It made the details of depression, anxiety, and generational trauma real. A personal reality in that I did not make up the trauma that has polluted several generations of my family tree. Reality sucks because it then has to be acknowledged and hopefully healed. Although difficult to follow the details at times I listened through the entire book. The inner twinned details of a dysfunctional family are an underestimated story of pain and confusion. I have to say some of the most appreciated information was the last chapter.

Beautifully insightful

I've been following this actor since he was on Chuck it's amazing everything he was going through behind closed doors and that he was still able to do such amazing work. His book provided meaningful insight, him sharing his journey with mental health was definitely helpful to my mental journey.
