More please! An amazing heartfelt story with steamy times and a brilliant audio narration. 14+hours finished in less than 24hours. I’m mesmerized by T. L Swan’s stories and characters, however I wish the writing was just a tiny bit more polished.

OMG Love Love this BOOK!!

Gabriel and Grace (Gracie), will make you laugh out loud, smile, and even frustrate you. But! You will love them all the same! Sean has the perfect voice for Gabriel and when he uses his Italian accent when he says his name you’ll faint! CJ is perfect as Grace and is a force to be reckoned with! Worth the money and the 14 hours!

I live her books.I am sure I will listen again. Narration was great! I do wish the male narrator had a bit more Italian accent but it was still good.

predictable but good anyway

I alway like T l Swan sge has written some of my favorite series. (stanton & Miles high club) this book was a sin off from those with all the feels and lol moments. the narrators are ok. They don't do any other voices then their own so every character sounds the same which isn't good for listening I'll read from now on...

An absolute gem

If you love the alpha males from TL’s previous successes and sprinkle in a bit of takeover and emotional rollercoasters, you must read The Bonus! Loved every second of it.

Read this book twice

I loved this book that I read it twice months later. T.L Swan has a way that makes you engage in reading so much I can't seem to want to focus on anything else. I loved that this was a duet and the only thing that would of sent me over the edge would be if the MN talked in a italian accent the entire time in the book. (swoon 💜) but it was still so good. T.L swan books have a good balance I love steamy romance like the next person but, with this book its healthy like their not having sex every other chapter. These characters have problems and they proceed to have character growth and problems that resolve and I seriously loved their love story. Grace, was annoying me through some chapters. Like I'm sure she pissed off most ppl. One minute she would acknowledge her wrong doing and realize she shouldn't let her hate towards him poison the kids minds, that they should make their own opinion of him but then her dumb**z would go and do that same thing again two chapters later.😑 She also acknowledged how selfish she was...it was only her as a single Mom for 6 years...pining of his love and then when she finally gets it she pushes him away and gets mad that the kids are warming up to him and love him and aren't angry with him. 🙄🙄🙄 She clearly had insecurities and unresolved pain that didn't heal over those 6 years she definitely isn't as bad as 'Claire' in another one of TL Swan books (I honestly feel like she didn't deserve a happy ending she had too many freaking issues that she let sabotage her own happiness) Anyways!!!! Gabriel Ferrara is such a romantic🥰🥰 I'm obsessed with italian men now lol. I hope T.L swan will come out with a few more Italian man books or a series! I have already read 'The Italian (freaking loved that book) and Ferrara! if you have this sitting in your list what the heck are you waiting for!?! read this book!

The heroine: Grace Porter - she has the the executive assistant to Gabriel Ferrara for seven years and has had a huge crush on him that entire time. As his assistant, she gets to see him live his busy life every day, she schedules his dates, his fancy weekends away, sends his women flowers and more, yet her home life is pretty boring, and she is tired of always being on the outside looking in. She is unhappy in New York and wants a more family-oriented life, so she buys a house in Maine and puts in her notice.

The Hero: Gabriel Ferrara - He is the CEO of the Ferrara Media empire. He relies on Grace like nobody else in his life and is not happy to find she is quitting and leaving him. He throws a tantrum, but when it doesn’t change her mind, he has another plan in mind, because he has always wanted Grace as well and he wants something from her before they are through.

The Story: Grace’s last day at work is the night of the company Christmas party and she wants to give Gabriel a look at what he will be missing. She is surprised when she stops in Gabriels's office, and he is there in the dark. He seduces her, they hook up and he turns cold, just going back to the party. Grace is infuriated at his actions, and she gets a ride home from Gabriel’s driver. However, she is surprised when the driver takes her to Gabriel’s house instead of hers.

I am pretty fond of T.L. Swan books, she has a way of writing complex relationships very well. I love that there doesn’t need to be any side plot of mystery or suspense. The relationships take center stage in her books and this one was no different. Grace spends the night with Gabriel then in the morning he tells her he has to marry an Italian woman. His family is very important to him, and they expect him to marry someone italian, and to raise his kids in an italian household.

Weeks later Grace finds that she was left with a reminder of their night together and still she fantasizes about things working out between them but knows he won’t really be happy about the news. I have to admit, that I love an accidental pregnancy in romance, though I wasn’t too fond of the way Gabriel did Grace wrong. I also hate it when several years go by with the two main characters apart, especially in accidental pregnancy romance. That happened in this book, but I kept at it even after that happened. I didn’t like how aloof Gabriel was towards Gracie. Like he was attracted to her but could leave her without thinking about her for years. I ended up liking both characters and sticking with this one was worth it.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via duet narration and was narrated by C.J. Bloom and Sean Masters. C.J. Bloom has a great voice and is super expressive. Sean Masters has a deep but soft voice that is sexy, and he sounds just like you would expect Gabriel to sound. I love the way he yells and throws minor tantrums. Gabriel has a singular personality. I like just about anything done in duet narration and they did a wonderful job with this one.

Not a Fan of Gabe

I don’t think I could find the good in Gabe. I’d want to keep my kids from him too. His mood swings were too damn much.

Perfect duet Narration! Love this book

CJ Bloom and Sean Masters are amazing at narrating Grace and Gabriel. They are so funny and bring them to life. I love the duet narration and the banter between the these too. The story was so sweet. Such a great listen !
