2025: I just did a re-read of this via ALC audiobook, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The duet narration was spot on and I was plunged into this world from the first few words. Something about hearing all the twists and turns of this story took it to a new level.

Hi, it’s me again. Shamelessly begging you to read another one of Naomi’s books so I have more people to talk to about them.

Naomi’s writing is addictive and this story is so unique. This book is a definite page turner && will keep you on the edge of your seat while you slowly lose your mind alongside the characters.

This is THE perfect spooky little novella! Despite being a shortie, it doesn’t feel rushed at all and was just what I needed 🖤

I listened to the audiobook. This was a quick paced paranormal romance with a spooky but HEA. The instant pull between hazel and Maveve was amazing. Narration by Scott rose and raven wildewood was top tier as always. Super quick read and perfect to end spooky season on.

So I have mixed feelings about this novella. Fast paced, you can't stray or you will get lost
... but I enjoyed it ... my only irk was the nickname 😆 for it being a spooky themed book "dreamgirl" didn't suit for me

I'm still not sure what the heck happened but I loved it..🤷🏽‍♀️😂

Hazel was 🔥 and Maeve was his match.

Scott Rose and Raven Wildewood are new to me narrators but they were amazing! I can't wait to listen to more of them.

Scott was great, he gave Hazel the mystery and power he exudes and Raven was just as good with Maeve, I could feel the fear and anxiety in Maeve!!

This book was mind blogging, theres mystery suspense and enough tension to keep you hooked. It was an amazing listen!!

Genuinely and equally confused and intrigued by this. It was good but also yet completely…..what the heck did I just read sort of thing? I knew where we were going with the story from the beginning (call it the auDHD I can spot an ending a mile away) however, a lot of the lead up left me with more questions than not. I won’t ask them here because maybe I just didn’t understand them and they are spoilers but I do think the general premise was intriguing albeit muddled. I would absolutely give another installment a go though. The audio was done exceptionally well though. This is my first from both narrators and I was blown away by both. I really enjoyed the dynamic they brought to each of their characters. All in all, 3.25/5 stars. Very different, but I couldn’t decide if it was good or bad different.

🎧 the narrators did a fantastic job voicing the characters in this duet narration. 𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘰𝘥 really brought 𝗺𝗮𝗲𝘃𝗲 to life & 𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘵 𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦 is exactly how i thought 𝗺𝗿 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲 would sound like... 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙮!!

I thought reading Mania for the first time was an experience, but hearing the story and characters come to life added a new layer of madness to the story.

Maeve & Hazel were voiced perfectly by Raven and Scott! I could feel every emotion, every bit of confusion, realization, and desire.

Scott was a perfect Hazel. Hearing the desperation in his voice as he portrayed Hazel's desire to be touched by another human, and his bone deep need for Maeve, was absolutely haunting.

Raven also brought the hotel, quite literally, to life. It was honestly kind of twisted actually hearing a voice put to the sentience of the hotel. Feeling her desire and jealousy! Such an amazing job by both narrators!

This was a quick and interesting paranormal romance that had me intrigued from the start. The narration for this was very well done and performed. I did enjoy the story and the spice, and even the unconventional HEA. This is the perfect spooky season quick read/listen. For being as short as it was it was well thought out and executed.

~Mania is 100% how I would describe this story to someone because I felt manic the entire time I was reading it & then the ending had me questioning if I missed something & I'm still trying to figure out what I missed! Is this what a fever dream feels like!? This was a good spooky season novella with a twist filled plot & an unconventional hea.

The duet narration for this audiobook was great! Raven & Scott did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life!~
