It gave me secret society, stalker romance, and trauma in one book and I was here for it! J. F. Harding killed it again when his narration for Emmett! The MMC had so many layers. So much anger, so much pain and you could hear it through the narrators voice. It really sucks me in to the story like so much more!!
Lucy Rivers was a good choice for Blair. She was innocent, naïve and her voice just gave me that the entire way through the book! These two were perfect! So if you’re an audiobook person, highly recommend this masterpiece!
I ATE THIS AUDIO UP! I couldn’t get through it fast enough. The cat and mouse vibes, the obsession, the fear, the emotions. And the absolutely crazy that is Emmett and Grimm! I was disturbed and cackling at the same time. I cannot wait for his book!!

Talk about a trigger list 😅 As advised, like always, make sure to check your trigger warnings.
This is a pretty big warning list, it’s super dark within the dark romance area. And yes! It’s a great book. There’s so much to unpack with this one from start to finish.
You want drama? You get it! You want dark/twisted? You get it! You want obsessed W/ her? You get it! You want secrets/hidden world? You get it!! And much more—just when I thought it was done, the list got bigger and bigger for stuff that’s going on.
Both MMC & FMC are strong characters. There were a few times I shouted at the FMC like, “how don’t you see it!” lol, but hey, who doesn’t love a good shouting moment, ’cause we all do.
Things pick up very quickly, giving you details of the world that they’re in and the life that they live. I didn’t expect the turns it took, which was fun to experience. I love it when something keeps me on my toes.
This is a dark college romance with vibes of seçret soćiety/st@lk!ng and more. Trust me the list is massive, which is why it’s important to make sure to check the trigger warnings, as I said before.
The author does a great job of creating this world and delivering the story to the readers. We get to see the MMC find himself in a situation such as he knows what he wants is the best way I can explain it. The FMC is just starting a new journey, and here comes the “it boy” making things one crazy journey.
Overall, I enjoyed it. It’s a 5-star experience for me all the way around—from the story to the characters to tiny details and, of course, the narration. It’s done perfectly. The narration is exactly how I imagined these two characters sounding, which brought it to life perfectly for me. One of the best movies for my ears.
