One of the best audibles I’ve listened to yet!

I’ll be honest, I listened to the preview and was immediately hooked by Kaius narrator. He played to part immaculately! I did love the story, with all its goddesses and dark magic. The FMC did get on my nerves with all her back and forth whether it was her being sassy and then begging for Kaiya’s help or to save her to the please don’t turn me I want to remain human and making him promise her, the. She wants him to turn her . Like girl make up your mind! Other then that, I thoroughly loved this and will be buying the next audible book in Nov.

Very unique vampire magic story

Narration was top tier. It was a strong and magical story. So different from her first. Ok but that shows you the authors range. I’m just thankful I didn’t cry my eyes out like her first book. Can’t go through that again. I have some questions however, which I hope will be answered in book 2. Well done.

I need to know what happens next…

I was excited to listen to this audio because I am a huge fan of Ariel’s book Under Your Scars. While this one did not top that one, the audio performance was five star for me. Can Sean Masters play vampires with accents more often?? He was fantastic as our MMC and June really brought the FMC to life. Joe Arden was a master at his parts as always and I believe this is my first time listening to Willa Jaymes and was very impressed as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this audiobook to everyone that I know would be interested in a story like this one. With that ending, I can’t wait to dive into book 2.

Dark, tragic and beautiful

King of the Damned is one of those stories that lingers with you long after you’ve finished it. It’s a beautifully tragic tale that pulls you straight into the shadows. It’s haunting, heartbreaking, and breathtakingly romantic. Adelasia and Kaius are flawed, scarred, and devoted to each other.

I was so excited for a new release from Ariel N. Anderson and even better, a new vampire story. I ended up devouring this audiobook in less than two days. The multi-cast narration was absolute perfection. Every voice fit so seamlessly that I forgot I was listening to a book and not living in the book. The last hour had my jaw on the floor, and now I’m counting down the days until the next book because I need answers!

If you’re like stories that are as dark as they are beautiful, with a romance that thrives even in pain, this is a must read.

The narrators were EXCELLENT! Sean Masters blew it out of the water!!!

I really enjoyed this one!! The world building of this vampire world was very interesting. There's enough of the lore to understand the magic system. Kaius and Adelasia were immediately entranced with eachother. I felt a magnetic pull between the two. I loved the slow build romance and the yearning. The yearning was so palpable. This book was giving me beauty and the beast vibes and I was here for it.

As for the audiobook narration, it's fantastic! Performed with a full cast in duet by Sean Masters, June Deborahae, Willa Jaymes and Joe Arden. Sean voiced Kaius. I loved his accent. It wasn't English, but sounded European. He conveyed Kaius with a deep gravelly baritone. June voiced Adelasia. She conveyed Adelasia with a delicate tone and exuded her bravery. Willa and Joe voice some of the side characters. They brought them to life using distinct tones for each character. The book does on a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to the next book!!

I’m Obsessed

I am literally obsessed! I was drawn in from the first moment and devoured it in half a day! Ariel N Anderson has taken on paranormal fantasy like she owns it! It was like a dark beauty and the beast retelling with a ballet dancer and a vampire. She’s given us the magic, the curse and an atmospheric world that draws you in and has you wanting more. I need book two because there are so many unanswered questions. Sean Masters was brilliant in bringing Kaius to life and June DeBorahae delivered a flawless Adelasia. Willa Jaymes and Joe Arden were amazing with the voices of the side characters. Since I had the Kindle version I did an immersive read and the story literally jumped from my kindle and came alive. From the writing to the performance King Of The Damned was an epic experience!

Dark Paranormal Romance

King of the Damned by Ariel N. Anderson is a dark paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by June deBorahae, Willa Jaymes, Sean Master and Joe Arden. This is the first book in the Echoes of Eternity duet.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Kaius and Adelasia. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Queen of the Wicked to be released on November 25, 2025.

I am so happy that this book was done with a full cast. June, Willa, Sean, and Joe did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark paranormal romance with star crossed lovers.
