This is absolutely not a ROMANCE, it is DARK and Yummy all wrapped around in horror. It is a Horror-mance and technically does have a HEA... There's definitely triggers you should look into BEFORE you read/listen.

This has all the masked horror hotness and there's a hell of a twist too. Scarecrows, voice changers, & a giant corn maze filled with twists, turns, dead ends, cat & mouse games, sex, and an unknown killer on the loose. There is M/F, M/F/M, & M/M contact, giant peen, and lots & lots of O's.

Von Necros's voice..... this was my first experience with his voice, and when I say my legs trembled and I had to change my pants after this short listen....It was a good thing I was in the kitchen cooking, because the sweat trying to hold back my reactions was real! Such DRIPPING goodness.... His tones just hit the right places for me. 10/10 for my audio input straight to kitty output reaction.

Tempest Mensah's voice is the perfect mix of husky and feminine. Not going to lie, her voice got me hot too. This is another first time listen of hers and I will keep looking for her narrations.

While this made me question myself and threw me for a loop, I WILL BE LISTENING AGAIN

Loved the narrators on this book! They made it come alive for me. Story wasn’t bad and kept me entertained. I enjoy the dark books. I enjoyed the narrators the most.

OMG what did I just read and LOVE!!! THAT TWIST!!! I’m dying to go back and see if I can pick up clues! Seriously I’m questioning my life choices and sanity for enjoying this so much! This was my first Horror Erotica and it was so good! Yes it was nasty! The trigger warnings are for real and some are usually on my No-No list but it all worked. It’s spooky, murdery, and somehow hot and sexy! Enjoy the dark corners of the corn maze!

Santana is my go-to for everything deliciously dark and twisted.
This is the third book I’ve read by them, and they never disappoint.
The audiobook performance is pure 🔥 I’ve listened to other narrations by Tempest and loved every single one.

Listening to No Way Out was an intense and immersive experience. The story leans heavily into atmosphere, repetition, and psychological tension, and the duet narration plays a huge role in how effective that becomes. The sense of being trapped inside the maze is heightened in audio, creating a claustrophobic, unsettling feeling that works exactly as intended.

Tempest Mensah and Von Necros fully commit to the material. Their performances enhance both the emotional intensity and the darker elements of the story, striking a strong balance between tension and desire without tipping into excess. The pacing, delivery, and tonal shifts are especially effective in audio, keeping the listener engaged throughout this short but impactful listen.

One of my favorite elements was the chapter titles, which added an unexpected layer of dark humor. Even in a story that leans into horror, those moments provided a sharp contrast that worked surprisingly well and made the experience even more memorable.

This novella is intentionally light on plot and heavy on mood, horror, and intensity, and the audiobook format amplifies that design. Even as someone who usually anticipates twists easily, I found myself genuinely surprised by where the story went.
