Angsty

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and the angst is strong with this one. Auburn obviously goes through a lot of trauma after being assaulted as a teenager. Then her mother is awful, that woman should not have had children. Despite this trauma, Auburn does a great job raising her son. Ledger is her son's hockey captain and they fall hard and fast. Although there were some inconsistencies in the story I still enjoyed it. The spicy scenes were great and the ending was very satisfying. The narration by Amy Hall and Sebastian York was also great. All in all, an enjoyable hockey romance.

Your Pucking Mom by Vee Taylor is book #1 in the Ravens Hockey series and it was so swoon worthy. Auburn is a single mom trying to do what’s best for her son who joined the Ravens hockey team. He’s the youngest on the team and she is worried he could mess up and they kick him off the team so she moves to Chicago with him. She meets Ledger and it’s an instant connection but he also plays for the same hockey team as her son and let’s just say, things get a little heated between them 😏!
The audio is performed in duet style by Amy Hall and Sebastian York. The dynamic between these two made this book a great listen. Blue nose did a phenomenal job producing this audio as well.

I so love finding new authors and diving into their audiobooks.
This one was so entertaining. Yes, I enjoyed the banter and the heat.
But what I loved most was the narration by one of my favorite narrators, Sebastian York. He sealed the deal for me on this audiobook. HOT!!!!!

Love this audiobook. These voices make the book so much better. The connection but fear for failing is strong. This is such an amazing book

Prepare to dive in and be lost

I can not say enough about how much I love this series by Vee Taylor! Hearing the story brought to life in audio was just chef's kiss. That deep rumble of Ledger and that sweet, soft voice for Auburn is perfection.

Ledger is just a grump and needs more in his life and didn't know until he saw it. He is book boyfriend goals. I want to put him in my pocket! There are so many good characters built up during this story that I know the series will be unput-downable.

Auburn is a young Mom with trama and a life not yet lived while raising her son. It’s her turn now and it’s so sweet.

Absolutely fantastic. There is something about how Vee writes that literally drags me in.

I enjoyed this story, it’s sweet, good spice, and plot. The romance is relatively “fast burn” — the chemistry, tension, and attraction evolve quickly, pushing characters into emotionally precarious territory.

Hot heavy and head turning!!

I can’t believe I waited this long to read this book having loved the rest of her books I knew I would love this one, but I can’t tell you how much the audio enhanced this book!! I am so glad I listened to it first and can not wait till the next comes out!!!!

This was fantastic

Vees book Brought to audio was amazing . Amy Hall and Sabastian York were the Perfect duo to bring A&L to life. The trauma Amy portrayed that beatuifully and their obstacles and working through them this team was perfectlu picked to make the cute couple vibes and all the feels.

Auburn & Ledger

Vee Taylor has officially entered her hockey era, and I am so in love. Vee's writing is so easy to follow and too bingeable.

This story follows Ledger & Auburn. Auburn's son got recruited to play professional hockey, so Auburn moved to be close to him. What she didn't know she was going to meet and fall in love with her son's broody hot captain (please know Auburn had Austin VERY young, so there is not a huge age gap between Ledger & Auburn).

They really tried to be friends because they knew it was a bad idea to get wrapped up with each other, but they couldn't help themselves. Their chemistry was off the charts and the spice was spicin'...and may have included a skate guard. HOOOTTTT!

The growth we see in Auburn as we learn the trauma she has dealt with for 18 years is impeccable. Ledger is the complete opposite of broody, but ONLY for her.

I am so excited for the rest of the Ravens Hockey series.

This is by first one by Vee Taylor and will not be my last!! What is in this? I absolutely devoured this audio, I downloaded the ebook cause I was enjoying it so much that I needed the full experience!! Auburn and Ledger were EVERYTHING! 👏🏼

Like excuse me, but they were hot?! The chemistry right away had me hooked! I loved how they kept running into each other, and how Ledger was hooked right away! I freaking loved everything about it! The teammate’s son aspect was so funny, I need more of this please!

The audio was perfection! Amy and Sebastian always are my favorites! They really brought this one to life, I ate it up. They had all the emotion, and made me feel immersed into this world. Highly recommend this audio! 👏🏼
