Publisher's Summary

Liars. Every last one of them. The kings and queens of my new high school. The father and stepmother I never knew.

Each has more wealth and privilege than I could've ever imagined. Each has a pile of wicked dirty secrets they'd do anything to protect. These people have grown accustomed to getting what they want, and what they want is to make my life a living hell. Too bad for them, you can't break someone who's already broken. Too bad for them, I won't give up without a fight. Too bad for them, I'm going to make them pay...even if it's the last thing I do.

This is a dark high-school-bully romance that may contain triggers for sensitive listeners.

Narration choices are terrible

I would not have purchased this audio book if the sample had the males voice on it. It sounds like a 60 year old man playing a 17 year old it's so disconnected. I sped the speed up alot and it makes no difference. It's a terrible choice.

This is a good series ! But the male narrator

I’ve read these but thought it would be a good book for audio, the Lidia Dornet is great in this very believable, captures the character of the h. But I just can’t with Soren Grey doing the male rolls ! It’s awful ! He sounds like a 50 yr old theater teacher lol it’s soo bad the should have just gone with Lidia for the whole thing. I’m returning it. It’s too distracting :(

Wicked Liars

Wicked Liars is the first book in the Windsor Academy series. This book is a dark high school bully romance. This book is told from the dual point of view from Jasmine (Jazz) and Kingston.

Jazz has lived with her mom and sister Bell her whole life. She is 17 years old and her mother passed away. She discovers she has a father and is sent to live with him. Upon arriving she learns she has a stepmother and stepsister. Her stepsister Peyton is one of the three Queens of the school and has a hatred for Jazz from the get go. Peyton is in a relationship with Kingston.

Kingston starts to have feelings for Jazz. Jazz becomes friends with Ainsley (Kingston's sister) which is how Kington comes to be around Jazz. Kingston doesn't know if he can trust Jazz since she doesn't fall in line like everyone else. Peyton has her minions go after Jazz as much as they can.

This book ends with Jazz questioning everything. She doesn't know who she can trust. It ends on a cliffhanger.

I really loved this book, and can't wait to read the next one!

Great story!

Loved the story. The male narrator has such a great voice but far from a high school males voice. It threw me off every time he would talk. Didn’t deter from the amazing story line though.

WOW

What a cliffhanger!! I've listened to this book before and it's just as good as the first time. Definitely worth the time.

Ugh

This storyline was good. The FMC was too stubborn and pig headed for her own good. I'm all for girl power, but sometimes in order to bring down the big bad men, we have to play the game and this girl did not know how to do that.
Female narrator did an excellent job, but the male narrator is horrible!! First his voice sounds like Megamind and I kept waiting for him to call his D*** minion, he has no concept of pauses and the only emotion he seamed to be capable of was over dramatization. He ruined this whole series!

Male narrator ruined it!

4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok so I almost through in the towel on Wicked Liars, because again I read the reviews before I gave the book a chance. I seriously need to stop doing that.

That being said tho....were there things I didn’t like in this book? Yep! there absolutely was....One of them being how shit never got resolved. Especially about the video. Another was Jazz not being as strong as I was told she was. Don’t get me wrong she’s no wimp, but she was no different then the pathetic b*#&$ in other books that give in so easily when it comes to the MC. 🙄

I really wish Authors would stop with this! Would it be so hard to let the girl for once tease the man... aren’t we the ones with all the power anyways. 😉

Anyhow I ended up enjoying the book even though there were several things I disliked..
I’m going to continuing the series, not because I love the book, but more out of curiosity to see how things pan out.

Audiobook: Lidia Dornet did a great job narrating, but what ruin this audiobook for me was the male narrator. Soren Gray sounded like he was 60. It was awful! They need someone like Teddy Hamilton or Christian Fox..someone that sounded younger with a sexy voice.
I actually ended up reading his parts, because I couldn’t listen to his voice anymore. It’s was such a disappointment.

Great

Very good HS bully romance. Characters and plot believable while still being suspenseful, sexy, and entertaining. Female narrarator was perfect!
