Publisher's Summary

He hates to want her. She wants to hate him.

Remi Tanner wasn’t part of the plan. But when I see my uncle doting on her, I know she’s going to help me destroy him. I’ll taunt her. Test her. In the end, I’ll break her

Ace Jagger wasn’t a good guy. But he swept into my life like a storm, and I’m caught up in the aftermath. He’s cruel. Calculating. In the end, I never stood a chance.

She might be a Sterling Prep princess, and I might be the guy from the wrong side of the tracks, but one thing's for sure...I won’t stop until I get what I want. Revenge.

Taunt Her is a dark high school bully romance. If possessive, tattooed, motorcycle-riding alphaholes aren't your thing, you probably won't like this book!

Ugh 😑 At least the narrators were good

I’m sorry but I just really can’t with this book! A fucking cliffhanger, a dumb ass MFC, a troubled MMC and a lot of stupidity from both of them and this book has high reviews? For freaking what?! It sucks ass. He’s not a bully, he’s a tortured guy who tortured his love interest and she allows herself to be humiliated and tortured by others around her.

The girl has zero backbone and her own mother doesn’t value her. Yet, she can hit him and do so repeatedly but she can’t do the same to her actual bully? Foh 😑🤬

Cringy 50 shades of grey high school for 30 year olds

Got it free and it wasn’t worth it. The “bad boy” character was written as trying too hard to be bad, his girlfriend (conquest?) was supposed to be an independent woman who fell for his blatant possessiveness. Really? It’s cringy story line literally made me roll my eyes as I listened and sometimes I couldn’t help but say “yeach” out loud. And, seriously, all these characters eat for breakfast is pancakes. Always pancakes.

Looking forward to the next one

Enjoyed the narration and thought the plot was good, but slightly predictable at times. Thought the two leads had good chemistry but Ace’s anger at things that were outside of Remi’s control was a little obnoxious near the end, although by the end we did get a better understanding of why he was so angry… so that helped. Definitely interested to know more about what Ace thinks his uncle is up to. I plan to continue the series and I would recommend to anyone looking for an enemies to lovers/virgin h/ angry bad boy/family secrets type of story.

So so.

Storyline is okay. Male narrator great. Female narrator don’t like. She’s too sing song in her internal monologue.

This was something else. It was a thrill ride. You will love and hate the male lead. The female lead.... I have no words. Well written.

Angsty but slow paced

Can’t wait for book 2! Almost didn’t read because of the negative reviews. It’s an angst read. I don’t understand why people are complaining about remi not being strong because she lets her school bully walk all over her. Clearly you haven’t experienced a bully before nor have you experienced a love with someone that changes you. Sticking up to a guy called a girl is a whole different ball game.

doesn't end

My biggest issue with thisbook is that there is no ending. it just stops and you have to purchase the next book in series. usually with these series the end of thebook brings an end to a story line. not with this one. It just stops like the end of a chapter with a cliff hanger...
otherwise the storyline is good and the narrators are good.

Excellent read.

The Rebels at Sterling Prep series. Taunt Her is Book One.
Told in dual perspectives , this was one hell of a bully romance.

Ace is a hot bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. After his mother passes away and his estranged, wealthy uncle takes in Ace and his younger brother, Ace notices that Remi, his girlfriend's teenage daughter, receives special treatment from his uncle and decides that Remi is the best way to hurt his uncle and exact revenge. Unfortunately for Ace, the more time he spends with Remi, the more he finds himself drawn to her, like a moth to a flame. Ace is determined to break Remi no matter what. Ace is tested and surprised by Remi at every turn of events. How can Ace resist Remi's desire when she is so much more than what he had anticipated and so similar to him? You're on the edge of your seat the entire book wondering if he'll carry out his revenge plan. Pick up this book if you enjoy the nice girl/rich princess/bad boy trope with bullying overtones.

Leaving the reader hanging for book two. I am at a loss for words when it comes to how fantastic this book is!

Good start— need some answers

Book 1 is a great start but it’s left so many unanswered questions. I feel sorry for Remi, she’s kind and sweet and can’t seem to get a break from people bullying her. I felt her heartbreak in the last chapter. The narrators did a good job.

probably won't finish it.

I got excited about a dual narration but it ended up being they just alternate chapters and they don't do a very good job of making the characters sound different so it's hard to keep up with who's who. There really isn't much of a story line either and im 20 chapters in.
