Mark Holbrook was a legend. A tall, rugged, imposing legend. He'd won a Pulitzer, interviewed kings and queens, presidents, and movie stars. Carly Barnett, on the other hand, was a former-beauty-queen-turned-advice-columnist. Not exactly on the same level. Still, Carly was determined to prove that she was more than a pretty face. Mark wasn't sure the beautiful and spirited Carly had what it took to be a reporter, but he was sure that he wanted her. And Mark never denied himself what he wanted.

Antony Ferguson only narrates one or two paragaphs
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Hard to say. It was an okay book but it just didn't grab me.
If you’ve listened to books by Laura Carter before, how does this one compare?
This is the first book of Ms. Carters that I have listened to.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
Yes. But if you are getting the book to hear Antony Ferguson you will be disappointed. I believe chapter 23 was the only one he read and it was short.
Could you see Vengeful Love being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Maybe a TV movie as for who should star in it I really can't say.
Any additional comments?
I will continue with the second and third books as I don't like to leave something unfinished. The story is not so bad as to abandon the series. I do hope we get more of Antony in the next installments.

Enjoyable.
I really enjoyed roots book. The narration was very good. The only thing is Antony Ferguson I think had only 1 chapter, so don't count on hearing him to often. It is a good story.
