Good start

The story was fun. It lacks some of the high stakes because the game is VR and not real. It does a good job creating some tension with player interaction though. The characters are entertaining. The game evolves which creates a fresh feel book to book. The author did a good job with his narration. It felt like he committed to the performance.

My favorite new series!

I love so much about this new series I'm not quite sure where to begin. The story is amazing and goes from good, to holy cow I can't put this down pretty quick. I feel like this brought out some of those moments from playing the most memorable video games of my life. Nostalgia everywhere. I felt that rush of gaining a tiny bit of extra benefit from a skill that would start to build and the feeling both more powerful but also stretched in cool new ways.

Beyond that, the author does a great job at bring some amazing characters to life, both with their writing and his performance while reading. I love how different each character feels as he reads from their point of view.

I cannot wait to see how the series continues. it brings back that feeling of extreme excitement when I was waiting for the next Harry Potter book and such experiences don't come along that often, and when I find another series in the future that really excites me I'm sure I'll remember being this excited about these books.

Thank you Mr. Chamber's! I'm really looking forward to what's to come!

Good book hope to hear book 4

This was a good book really like how it unfolds. The style of story was intriguing good listen.

Great Listen

Good story great boo/series to listen to while your doing things around the house or on a long drive.

Very enjoyable!

I read these books first, and thought it might be fun to listen to the audio book. I don’t normally care a lot for audio books, but this was great! I admit part of the draw was hearing the author himself read it. He has a good voice for this-or perhaps I should say voices! Chambers did a very good job with all the different character voices. It was a lot of fun, bringing the story even more alive. The storyline is good, with good characters, and exciting action scenes. I look forward to the next book coming out!
