Fun take on Isekai

An interesting take on Isekai.
The voice acting is excellent!
Though I’m unclear why they didn’t cast a British actor. The author is clearly English. And there’s a lot of “Britishisms”. Still the voice acting is very good!
The “System” voice parts get a bit repetitive but it stays true to the world. I’m sure it comes across differently in print.

I’m hoping for an offshoot series.

Great Omnibus!

I enjoyed the large number of unique characters. Dave was hands down my favorite. Right in the middle of a hugely complex battle, Dave would start to calculate how to create a spell. Loved it!

Outstanding

Loved the storyline, the twists and turns and the narrator is most excellent with his voices. I will continue to look for this author, and this narrator when choosing books.

Loved the story, but man, 130 hours is a lot of time. I was entertained, and enjoyed the story a lot. Honestly, even though I got a sweet deal, I want more!

The best story i've ever listened to in my life

Look, this book was hands down the best story. I've listened to my entire life. having all 5 books to listen to at once was so awesome. This would make a fantastic movie
My favorite character hands down is Dave. He is just awesome LOL.

Truly an epic series, i absolutely loved it. The performance was excellent. I won’t ruin it for you, best credit I ever bought!

I understand why it's so heavily discounted...

Aside from anything plot, character, or writing related, Pavi Proczko does a phenomenal job giving each character a unique voice and personality. Unfortunately, this isn't enough to carry the story.

The main character starts off well enough, but very quickly descends into a thoughtless idiot who somehow makes every interaction with a woman sexual and needs everything explained to him. I was hopeful that this lit-rpg trope would be avoided based on the first female interaction, but I was completely let down before the first half of the first book.

Further, the character behaviors often take such wild leaps in logic that it feels more like they're all just devices to advance the plot rather than actually being part of the story. For example, the protagonist goes from being completely ambivalent about the concept of gods to being a zealot in a god's name without any interaction or dialogue to explain why.

I also thoroughly dislike that every female character is completely defined by being part of the protagonist's harem and the protagonist himself is the type of person to kiss women on the lips without consent when he gets excited about something.

I'm not even a quarter of the way through the second book and I'm honestly too grossed out at the writing feeling like some creepy male fantasy to continue.
