starts slow but ends really well

initially I could not get interested in this book even though I loved the previous three books in the series a lot however about 40% into the book things start getting interesting I was not a big fan of the Karen story but the rest of the book was really good. one of the better lit RPG series out there

The is one of the best LITRPG.

I truly enjoyed the new edition to the Nelson's story. Please continue to write positive uplifting family stories, and I will continue to purchase them.
I liked the new character which he introduced, and the expansion of Sarah's character's build. I like the way the characters level up with which helps the story progress. My only complaint is there are to many stats sheets referenced.

Along with life in exile this series is a great story so well written and beautifully written it is a must read .

Great new Litrpg

Great listen, different take on not starting from the very start of the families journey however I found myself not all that lost in the story with alot of the context provided in the world and situations that were going on. Would I have liked to hear their start? yes. however I also enjoyed that alot more action that didn't involve the family killing boars in the woods and skipped mostly to large fights with lots of abilities and skill points. hope this turns into a few books so we can get a complete picture.

It is no surprise that I would love this book! I've been following the Nelson family since they were sucked into Eloria and ended up following their first tenuous steps into this new reality!
This book was touted to be Jackson's story, and I guess it was. But in reality it told a much, much bigger story, encompassing the whole Nelson Family! And it leaves me needing more of Sarah's story, so much more! So Sean Oswald write faster. Okay, thanks 😊.
If you're looking for a great action-packed litRPG series this'll do it! And Peter Berkrot is the perfect voice talent for the job...

Another great fantasy story from Oswald

The first arc in this series was fantastic and this new one did not let down. Berkrot’s narration was top-notch as well. I liked the new orc pov and Jackson’s monk class storyline. It fits for both continuation and a fresh start depending on if readers want to start here or go back to the beginning of Life in Exile. I recommend you read them all.

This author and series is quickly becoming my favorite. And I’m definitely loving the comedy and different perspectives thrown in since it’s a whole family and not one person.
