A weak soul must not cultivate. Madness consumes the weak of mind. Eternal servitude awaits the weak of heart.

Su Fang arrives in a realm of cultivation unprepared—no skills, no knowledge, and no backing. Like everyone else in this new world, he is given a blessing from the Heavenly Dao to help him success, but Su Fang's blessing isn’t power over the elements or mastery of profound arts. No, it takes a brutal lesson to teach him that he’s been ‘blessed’ with repetition.

Every time he dies, he returns to the moment of his arrival. The young cultivator uses each reset to grind skills, refine his inner essence, and empower his very soul, using only the memories of countless failures. Each death is another lesson, each life another chance. Yet the world is ruthless, and time alone won’t be enough for Su Fang to make his mark; especially when every reset washes away not only his mistakes, but his triumphs.

In a land where even the strong perish, his fate is clear: he’s an immortal destined to die. Over and over.

The writing is phenomenal. I love the story and am a little disappointed book 2 isn’t out yet.

Great first book

Slow roll but I the writing is good and I’m optimistic for the series. Definitely for fans of time loop skill grinding type series.

I was already following the story before it got officially published, and was super excited to experience it as an audiobook (the narration was genuinely great. Really love how the narrator was able to convey the placid obstinance of the System, and the frustration the main character has with it), but it's the subtle edits and improvements to the story that took this from "it's a series that starts good but gets great in book 3" to "it's great from the get-go!" Really excited for the release of future volumes. So glad that it's this book that finally convinced me to get an audible subscription lol.

omg it's even better than I expected!!

If you are looking foe a good Grinding novel with solid, and well written introspection, this is for you.
Downside, any growth is directly attained from the system and aside from a vauge understanding that MC got "better," it really doesn't correspond to any actual change in the story.

Really in depth explanation of cultivation and alchemy

very good, not sure why I need 15 words as a minimum but I enjoyed the book

Made it as far as I could, had 4 hours left and regretted my purchase. Honestly I regretted it much earlier but was waiting for the MC to stop being a pushover and everyone's favorite punching bag but it never happened.

Good but not for me

I’ve had mixed experiences with Cultivation series, Ans I wasn't fully sure what to expect but about half thought I found myself checking the book timer and thinking I hope this isn't ending soon.

I don't know if it was planned or if the Author just got feedback as he write the web-version of the book but the way the MC grows and matures (writing improves) was fun to experience.

I definitely think there is room for improvement but overall a solid release & I'm looking forward to continuing the journey.

Presently surprised & worth the Experience !

like how are you gonna be treated like shit for 100 years dying over and over finally get free and then let people still treat you like shit how are you gonna act like a little shy kid when you have 100 plus years of experience like come on. walk with pride, don't take shit, I have never met a real old man that takes shit, let alone someone who has died 20 plus time. I hope he mans up soon, (edit) he doesn't man up MC is the such a push over it makes it hard to listen low-key pisses me off lol

it's good but sometimes the MC personality can piss me off/ the author of this book must a a push over lmao

I was hesitant to read this time loop because it seemed like nothing he did was permanent unlike other time loops where the MC retains skills or changes to their body. While the description says otherwise the MC does learn how to make a few things permanent and grow through the loops. So it's not endless meaningless lack of progression.

Yes the MC is a bit spineless through the book due to mental influences but he struggles against them and might grow a spine in future books based on trajectory.

As for other reviews on no fights, mostly true. There is no martial cultivation for this MC but he does still have conflict. Many hardships, brutal deaths and overcoming strife.

This isn't some slice of life with no real hardship except a rough day. This is a story of constant growth through adversity both in skill and character.

A final note that the description doesnt really cover, The system isnt litrpg stat system. It's more a system store where he can buy things for credits he earns. Its a major point and quite fun. Think that needs to be pointed out. It isnt a OP thing though due to the prices. Just a good advantage.

Cant wait for book two, it got really good at the end with a solid foundation for book 2.

Conflict without battle

Really enjoyed this read/listen. The narrator’s voice is compelling and added real depth and dimension to the story. What impressed me most was how the story held my interest from start to finish, even though, in abstract, it's about the MC leveling his skills and abilities. The "hook" about the MC being undying is thought provoking and lets the story explore characters and elements from alternate viewpoints. I often found myself wondering how I would behave if tossed into the same situation. Also, there is fertile ground here for interesting moral dilemmas and I hope this will be even further explored in later installments. This is probably not a story for numb-skulled battle junkies, but if you're a fan of MC's with thoughtful approaches to problem-solving, and who are flawed, but innately decent, then give this a shot as I think you'll be pleased.

Enjoyed this immensely. Looking forward to book 2
