Sidney is a hardworking country music artist who is truly deserving of some time off. When her record company drops a little surprise on her it’s the perfect time for her to get that R&R she truly needs. Deciding to surprise her brother and his fiancé in Seattle Sydney is happy to get some time with family. She drops in as a surprise to what is a friends dinner and runs into the one man who her mind keeps going back to.


Keaton comes from a family of more than a few famous people. Staying out of the spotlight is his number one thing to do. Give him an old car to restore and he’s happy. Well for the most part. There is a woman who he can’t get out of his mind, but yet she is so in the limelight that he knows it’s something that can never be.

Keaton and Sidney are absolutely perfect for each other. They complement each other so well. Their attraction and chemistry are the things of fairytales.
Their family and friends set them up, not knowing that Keaton and Sidney shared an amazingly passionate night together, that neither one of them has been able to forget. The two find a way to be with each other without being a couple, but yet, as time goes on, you can tell more and more, but the only place they wanna be is right where they are. with fame comes unexpected surprises and some good things come Sidney’s way that makes what they share together become a little more real and a little more unknowing. The Setup is a fantastic story. There is such an intimate feeling among the pages of the story. As I have already said, our stars are absolutely perfect for each other. It just takes a little bit for them to figure that out. A story steeped in love, deep family connections, and all the feels you could possibly want.

I listen to the audiobook of The Setup. Let me tell you it was truly a performance of the story. The narrators truly made the story come alive.

Love this series! Keep them coming Kristen, it’s so fun seeing the next generation of the Montgomery clan come to life!

When low key and high profile collide!

When low key and high profile collide something pretty special happens! Keaton and Sydney set the pages on fire.

I loved this book so much and I have loved the spin-off series Single in Seattle! Having all the characters I have known and loved so long pop up on the pages again is so fun!

Beautiful and Sizzling Romance!

I loved this beautiful and sizzling romance filled with humor, heart, and that fierce love of family. Keaton was burned as a teen when a young actress he thought he loved, used him to get to his famous father. He vowed to stay out of the spotlight and to never date someone famous. Sydney is a talented country singer at a cross roads in her career. She needs to find her passion again, so she leaves Nashville to go home to Seattle to visit her family and recharge. When she pops into her brothers place, she comes face to face with Keaton, the man she had a secret night of sizzling passion that she has never forgot, a year ago. Things are awkward at first, but Keaton has never forgotten Sydney either. They pick right up where they left off and their chemistry is just as explosive. They agree to keep seeing each other, with no strings, until Sydney goes back to Nashville. But the more time they spend together, the more their hearts become involved. They don't want to give each other up, but their lives are too different, with her's in the light, and his away from the chaos. Will they be able to compromise or will they leave each other completely alone and heartbroken? I fell so hard for Keaton and Sydney, they were so perfect together with their love of fun, music, and family. Their journey to each other felt genuine and I loved all their friends and family who were a huge part of their lives. They were so supportive and loving, and made this story even more fun.
The narration by Joe Arden, and Emma Wilder was fantastic. They really nailed these characters, allowing us to experience all their strengths and vulnerabilities, and their chemistry was off the charts! They made this fun, heartwarming, sweet and sizzling romance even better!

She many great books from Kristen and this is another. The narration is great Emma is a favorite. Great job

Great Story

Another great story in this series. The narrators did a wonderful job bringing all the characters to life. Looking forward to more stories in the series.

Grand slam… Home run

Kristen proby does not disappoint! She has got me hooked on this entire Williams/Montgomery series. This story about Keaton and Sidney is a wonderful love story, has some tension has some steamy scenes and is full of love and family! Lots of humor too. You do not want to miss out on this listen.

Kristen Proby sure knows how to hook us up, and leave with a happy smile on our faces. This book proves it!

Sidney, omg, I loved this lady, so independent, strong willed, and overall badass. She’s the woman we all wish to befriend. Keaton, as much as he doesn’t like the comparison, is so much like his daddy, not just by ‘his fame phobia’, but his love and devotion to the ones he loves. I must confess that there were a couple of times I wanted to shake his stubborn @ss down, lol, but when push come to shove, I adored the way he chose to reveal his love for Sidney.

I can never get enough of this Montgomery clan, and Ms. delivers every.Single. Time!!! Yep, already dying for Drew and London’s story! ;) <3 <3 <3 <3

Another wonderful story in this series

Keaton and Sydney's story is great. I really like this series of the next generation of Montgomery family. Joe Arden and Emma Wilder are great narrators.

OUTSTANDING audio with a surprise!!!

The audiobook for The Setup delivers an OUTSTANDING audio performance with an included SURPRISE that I am obsessed with! Sidney is a country music star, so what did Kristen Proby do? She added, actual country song clips into the audio from the character Sidney Sterling herself! It took an already enjoyable storyline and elevated it to the next level in this audio! Also you have Joe Arden and Emma Wilder who gave a performance that was just perfection! Joe Arden was the perfect tone for Keaton’s character and especially delivered on Keaton’s dirty mouth in the bedroom! Joe’s female voice to show off Sidney’s upbeat personality was also so well done!! Emma Wilder was perfectly cast for Sidney as well! She fit her age and personality while adding chuckles and other sounds to the narration that just brought her character to life! Overall, this audiobook is a new favorite for me and one that I will be listening to on repeat!!

The way I LOVE Keaton & Sidney!!! They are my new favorite couple of the Single In Seattle series! You can’t help but smile throughout this whole book as they such have a strong attraction with so many swoon worthy moments and conversations! It’s an easy read but yet incredibly enjoyable love story!! Kristen Proby continues to give us a 2nd generation series that just gets better and better with each book!
