Publisher's summary

From NYT best-selling Author Kristen Proby comes an all new epic series about three best friends, a local legend, and finding love on the stunning Oregon Coast!

Luna Winchester’s life is firmly entrenched in the coastal town Huckleberry Bay, Oregon. A fourth-generation light keeper, Luna is carrying on the Winchester tradition by tending to the lighthouse. Plus, she’s decided to renovate a long-abandoned building on the property and make it a B&B, Luna’s Light. Surrounded by family and her two childhood best friends, her life is full.

Wolfe Conrad is in hiding, and he’s come to Huckleberry Bay to heal. A career-ending accident on the track nearly took his life, and now he seeks refuge to try and build a new one. The quaint town’s slow pace rattles the man who’s first love is fast cars—and then there’s the beautiful innkeeper, who rattles him in different ways.

Falling in love with Luna definitely isn’t part of Wolfe’s plan. Local legends that tell of unrequited love and despair? Unbelievable. But stranger things have happened, like two strangers falling in love....

Great small town series!

This is another great small town series from Kristen Proby with all new characters. This series takes place in a small town on the coast of Oregon with the owner of the lighthouse building a bed and breakfast on the property. This is a friends to lovers trope with an element of paranormal, suspense and a little bit of mystery. Love this town and the cast of characters introduced.

Erin Mallon and Sebastian York are perfect for these characters and really kick this book up a notch.

Top notch narrators!!

Lighthouse Way is the first novel in the Huckleberry Bay series by Kristen Proby, featuring a friends to lovers tale. Luna Winchester is a fourth-generation lighthouse keeper with big plans to turn her out-building into a bed and breakfast. Wolfe Conrad has returned home after a career ending crash on the race car track. The two former childhood friends find themselves embroiled in some pretty intense chemistry, as Wolfe works out his next steps and figures out a plan for the future.

The book has great world building, with well-developed characters and interesting subplots interwoven into the main main story. The series appears to be based on three best friends, Luna, June, and Sarah, and enough groundwork was laid in this book for June and especially Sarah’s storyline, that I cannot wait for more! The town is also populated with interesting supporting characters that add to the story. There’s also a historical subplot, a protective ghost, and a suspense angle due to a plot twist! I expect Sarah’s book will bring some emotions, and hopefully some answers that we don’t have in this book. I’m diving into it next!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Small town romance perfection

A new small town to add to my list of book towns I want to visit. The Oregon coast town is everything there is to love about small town romance. We have the added bonus here of a friends to lovers story and with those two together its absolutely my favorite troupe to read :)

This is the beginning to Huckleberry Bay series. and what a beginning it was. I loved the romance of this book. I swooned with Luna and Wolfe and they found their way to each other. I laughed at the wonderful friendship that Luna, Sarah, and June have together. I was intrigued by the ghost story plot. It made for such a fun read.

I couldn't wait after reading to get my hands or maybe that should be ears on the audio. It made an already great book so much more. Sebastian was perfection as Wolfe.

5 stars!!

Loved this book

Great story and what I liked the most is it didn’t follow the typical format of people fall in love, something happens, they break up and get back together. Here the couple stays together and there isn’t the angst of a breakup

Wasted a credit

This is my 4th book by Proby. If it would have been my first, it would have been my last. No story, no plot, no surprises and no good!!!

Absolutely in love with Huckleberry Bay!

Lighthouse Way is the start of a brand new series from Kristen Proby, and I am absolutely in love with Huckleberry Bay! Kristen has created a small town setting that is all at once brand new and familiar. The town of Huckleberry Bay has a rich history and the past and present both come into play in this novel. There are supernatural elements, but this is not a supernatural romance, and the characters have strong personalities and friendships.

Luna is the caretaker of the lighthouse and is the latest generation to do so. Wolfe grew up down the street playing with luna when they were children. They grew apart in their teenage years, and reconnect following a devastating accident. Their attraction and romance is swift and secure. The have instant chemistry and for the most part their romance is low angst. This book is light on the spice, but what is present is definitely worth it.

Narrated by the amazing Erin Mallon and Sebastian York, this book was perfection in my ears. Sebastian York was the perfect Wolf, and Erin Mallon brought such humor and emotion to Luna listening to this audiobook was like visiting with a close friend.

My favorite part of this book was not the romance, but establishing the town, characters and quirks. Luna's best friends June and Sarah have strong personalities and great humor and rapport. I loved June's grandmother and the 3 sisters who co-own the local restaurant. Luna's brother and his buddies also add to the unique relationships in the town.

I hope every character I met in this book get their own story because I am ready to read about adventures and love in Huckleberry Bay for a long time!

Chef's Kiss Friend Saga

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Kristen Proby has a perfect recipe to write a romance series that spans all the friends and relatives. Her recipe doesn't get stale and the stories always have a new twist that isn't expected.

Luna and Wolfe have known each other for the whole lives. And just like a wolf is drawn to the moon these two are meant to be. They help each other heal and grow together.

I really loved the background of the lighthouse and the B&B. I love those aspects.

Erin Mallon and Sebastian York can narrate no wrong. I will always listen to their books.

Wonderful start to a new series

I was delighted when I learned that Kristen Proby was starting a new series- Huckleberry Bay. The first book in the series concentrates on Luna and Wolfe. They knew each other as children and reconnect as adults. This book has multiple layers and captured my interest straight away and held it well after the last page. I’m still thinking about it. It’s lays the groundwork for the rest of the series. I loved Huckleberry Bay and want to live there. The people are really interesting and I’m looking forward to learning more about them. I enjoyed Luna and Wolfe and how their relationship evolves. I love their friends and want to know their backstories and what will happen to them. I found this a really interesting book and it looks like it’s the beginning of an exciting series. I’m so looking forward to listening to the next instalment. The narration as always is wonderful, bringing the characters to life.

Honestly love all Kristen Probys’ books

I loved Luna and Wolfe, their relationship is so special. But I also loved the whole town and relationships between everyone. There’s no fiction worlds like Kristen Probys fiction worlds. Such a good listen, would highly recommend 💕
