This one was such a good surprise!

What a surprise this book was! I started it because I just wanted a light read since I was such in a dark place and even in a darker mood - I thought I would read such a fluffy and sweet read when I found myself crying my eyes out at the end.

I truly loved Sophia’s story and everything about her journey. Watching falling in love again with her previous home was such a delight - and that was my favourite part of this book by far!! The way she started to reconnect with the people that once were her family and how she truly finds out that belongs there warmed my heart.

It’s a romance story but I truly was there for Sophia - that’s how good she was. One of my favorite scenes ever will always be her conversation with her father and everything he said.

Please, please read this book!! I am truly excited to continue this series.

The story of Finding Love

This read captured my attention from the very beginning to the end. It was hard for me to stop listening. The Author’s writing was excellent and the story flowed. After listening to the truth from her farther’s perspective about what happened between his relationship with her mother, she decided to stay at the Farm. I was hoping that the ending would bring hers and Braxton’s unexpected love for each other together and would give Braxton the chance to ask for her hand in marriage! I loved the happy ending ❤️

Wow! What a sweet and complex story. I can’t wait to try more from this author. Took me a while to warm up to the ML, but I did. Characters felt real.

You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl!

What a hallmark like story with some sexy spice!! Such a great read! Country girl forced city and brought back to her country roots met with a new love!

This is my first by Amber Kelly and I absolutely loved it! So much heart and I loved seeing the characters slowly fall in love! At one point I was so enthralled with the storyline I forgot there was a hidden secret to be unraveled. Can't wait to read more from her!

Beautiful narration. Gorgeous story

Sophie and Braxton are an unlikely pairing (city girl vs rancher). She’s been dealing with so much hurt and feelings of abandonment by her dad. Braxton is a rancher whose aunt took him and his sister in as children when they lost their parents. His aunt. Her dad. Their family.

Sophie’s mom has been hiding things from her and lying since she spirited Sophie to New York as a child. Now Sophie has gone back to Colorado to attend her grandmother’s funeral and see her dad and family that she hasn’t seen in 20 years. It’s a lot. There’s some painful revelations coming. And it’s all a stunning, emotional, heartfelt story.

This is my first read by Amber Kelly, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Well-developed characters, especially the h, and an enemies-to-lovers trope that isn’t overly angsty. I recommend, and I’m looking forward to the next in the series!

The truth is that it is rare to find me reading romance novels, I usually prefer the dark ones. But I love small town books.
I found myself mesmerized by this book, the plot, the characters and in general Poplar Falls ❤️
(Immediately after it I'll continue to the second book because I was left with a taste for more and I wanted more of the family and warmth of the farm 🥰❤️).

Sophie receives a phone call that changes her life upsidedown, which makes her pack a suitcase and travel to the town where she grew up, the one she hasn't set foot in 20 years, in order to pay her last respects to her late grandmother.
The truth is, I didn't expect to connect with the character like I did with Sophie, but I found myself understanding her heart and understanding where her reactions are coming from.
Throughout the plot, I prayed that she would get the answers to the questions that made a hole in her heart for two decades.
I was surprised by the author's twist, I didn't even think for a moment about the direction she went through which made me love the book more!

Dislike to love, secrets, a painful past, a small town, cowboys with a melting smile, the big city woman, a big and lovely family - There's everything here and so much more!

I devoured the book in a few hours and enjoyed every moment
Highly recommended! ❤️

MMC Voice

Wanted to give this story a chance but the moment I heard the MMC voice I was instantly taken aback. I can’t finish this!
