Publisher's summary

No woman had ever joined the Rising Sons...until now.

A standalone novel in the Rising Sons universe.

Raven is tough and strong, and she lives for the rush of the open road. She's trying for something that no woman has ever done, and the Rising Sons aren't going to make it easy for her. When trouble comes to the Rising Sons, though, she might be the only one man enough to stand against it.

Gunner is ride or die. The club was the only thing on his mind until Raven showed up. As soon as he saw her, he had to have her. She's not just another lay to him but an equal - someone he can stand beside. She's everything he wanted but didn't know existed in a woman.

When the president of the MC is attacked and put into a coma, the club starts to crumble. Tensions rise when Raven and Gunner both try to step in and lead. Together they have to stop old enemies - and new - from tearing down everything that is The Rising Sons Motorcycle Club.

it was ok

The concept of the book is really good. There is to many characters relaying information. instead of 1 or 2 povs there are 6 or 7. it was to much to try and keep up with.

Not sure I would title this has a biker "Romance"

It wouldn't bad it was OK. I did get the feeling however that perhaps I should've read the first two novellas in the series because there was no history behind the characters at all.

One minute they hate each other's guts and the next minute they're in love not sure I felt the storyline build up to a romance it seemed somewhat forced to me.

Overall needs MC romance books especially the 1%, I'm not feeling and empathy for the characters so when somebody gets hurt or someone dies you just feel like yeah but that's your life so deal with it maybe it's just me. I will say I felt that get over it mentality a lot more in this biker book then I have other see other in MC.
People want to act all badass and then whine when they get a badass pushed right back At them. I did like the spin on a woman inside MC that was cool.

An amazing read

What can I say about the Rising Sons that no other has already said... I was completely drawn in from the very beginning. Mind you this is the first time I have ever used audiobooks but I have to say that the characters and the story flowed smoothly. Gunner has to be my favorite person in this entire story because he tries to play as if he is this big bad person but secretly underneath he has a soft spot for a certain sexy female and they are both fighting their feelings the entire time.

Always think More is better!

Wow! I was really surprised that this book was so good. The timeline requires some focus because there are flashbacks at different times.
This is not the standard MC romance. First of all, it is extremely violent. This is definitely a 1% outlaw club and they do not apologize for this fact. Therefore, if the extreme violence, including torture, bothers you, choose another book.
The other way that this book is different is that a woman is a prospect for the club and ,therefore, she is just as violent as the men and not very ladylike.
In addition, the relationship between the Hero and Heroine is definitely unconventional. Their relationship starts as a love/hate relationship with a power struggle. They are not very kind to each other and their is arguing and name calling and almost violent sex; if you’re more traditional, this may upset you.
Be aware, that there is a pretty intense plot that includes blackmail, extortion, revenge, torture, kidnapping and murder.
My only real complaint is that the book ended pretty abruptly and parts of the plot were not resolved fully. Perhaps they will be resolved in future books. Worth your time and a credit? As long as you can handle the uglier side of mankind, then yes.

The Rising Sons MC

An invigorating, thrilling, nonstop, action pack ride to go on with Raven, Gunner and the Rising Sons MC. I enjoyed this book immensely.

No... just no

Sadly I did not fall for this book as quickly as the "heroine" in this book did for the hero. In my opinion the story was all over the place and did not feel organized. I think that they want to give a lot of details, which the story needed, in the shortest time possible. It didn't work in my opinion.

Good story, poorly executed.
