Great unexpected listen...

So, I think this book was free? I'm not sure because once I started I'm hooked! (I skipped 2 because Jag didn't hook me in this book...)

I got in it because I was in a book slump and thought what the hey right? I did not expect to be absolutely hooked!

The way the main characters met was so out of what I've seen so far and the female protagonist wasn't too too much in her head until later on but the beginning was great! I thought she was going to be carefree for the rest of the book then she changed UGH why does this happen?

I enjoyed Zak's story so much even though Sophie turned out to be a bit of a dud for me;;;what she was in the beginning wasn't what she was in the end and I did not enjoy that at all especially the ogling other men in the club and appreciating them more than Zak yuk!

All in all I enjoyed the book...It's an MC story line, false imprisonment, sorta spicy and really enjoyable...can't take too much of your time...

What I love the most also is the names of the characters on the book so you know exactly whose story you are getting into.

Narration was great

Story was okay until the end. It just fell flat on the floor. I have enjoyed Jeanne St James’s books but with this ending, I’m not going on to the next book. Whoever edited this book needs to go back to college. Not impressed at all with the ‘what’ . . . maybe a cliffhanger?? I just don’t know. 🤦🏼‍♀️

this was a pretty good story. good romance not much action for mc. I like lots of hard action. that's what mc are about. not sure if its worth buying the other books if they are luke warm as this one.

Loved this book from the very first chapter! Intense and full of passion! I can’t wait til the next book in the series!

Nice start but left a lot of questions

Detailed beginning then jumped to an ending leaving unanswered issues. Assuming it will be sorted out through the series.
