Publisher's summary

Everyone knows NOT to discuss how to raise children. The Men of the North have been living in exile for centuries, raising their boys without the influence of women. Now an experiment will bring girls and boys together in a new school with children and teachers from each side of the border. But how can two teachers work together when they don't agree on anything?

Sparks fly in this clash of cultures when Archer Rex objects to Kya Rae's meditation "shit" that will surely turn his boys into wusses. He wants the kids to learn how to hunt and fight instead. Contains mature themes.

Still a great series

T he first book is still my favorite, but this one had its rough moments, but never did I want to stop listening. The narrators were great and I hope they don't change them for the rest of the series. This was a very good read because we got to know about the young girls and boys going to school. Definitely recommend highly.

Love this series

I initially started this series because book 1 was part of a book club discussion. I was pleasantly surprised and now after the 3rd book in the series it has just gotten better with each book I read. I would definitely recommend this series. Great characters and humor.

Consent violations abound

Not a fan of the consent violations and wish they could be taken a bit more seriously by the protagonists in this series.

Teachers, kids and family plot

I was really excited to see Archer end up with Kaya. The school plot was a be slow at times and i would have liked to see more of a merge of philosphies in teaching approch. Spice was a bit mild to medium here. These book get you hooked on the charachers and seek tje next book, well played Elin Peer.

A Little Slow

I have read books 1,2 and 3. The writing is fantastic. I love everything about this series. However, this book seems to me to be a bit slow. This series is more of an adventure-romance than a hot sexy romance. It’s a nice in between book. I love the hot sexy romance books but this series is a nice change. Also, you should read this series in order because the all characters play part in each book. Happy Reading, heading to book 4!

Didn't love it quite as much as the first 2 books

I didn't love this one quite as much as the first 2 books. I felt like the relationship got a bit lost in the school plot line. But it was still a fun read. I'm such a sucker for these alpha men even though they are SO rude about things. Lol

My most favorite series ever

Extreme feminism meets extreme patriarchy and this is what you get. The characters are unique and the storyline isn't like anything else I've ever read or listened to. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Not my favorite

I’m in love with this series, but this story dragged a little and I didn’t quite feel the connection between the 2 as much as the previous stories. I still liked it, but just not like I like the others.

Heroine is horrible

Archer is an angel from heaven but Kya is just a disaster. WE GET IT. YOU’RE A MODERN WOMAN. LETS MOVE ON. Where Archer is open and communicative and slowly becomes more and more welcoming to new ways of thinking, Kya is seriously stuck in her ways and shows very little in the way of compromise. I should say that I don’t agree with people complaining that Archer spanks a kid—not a big deal in my opinion.

Interesting

This book, like previous books in this series, is so interesting and unique. Is hard to put down. The book is a blend of drama, humor, love, and pain. The narrators are doing a great job. On to the next book in series.
