Which means the following story contains a mixture of Northern English slang, dialect, regional colloquialisms and other quirky spellings that have been intentionally included to make the story and dialogue more realistic for modern day characters.

Loved IT!!

I have been in love with this series since I found it a few years ago. The Afterlife Saga is a series that can be read and reread over and over. I'm glad I tried out the audible version. Afterlife fans will be glad to hear that there are extra scenes and extra lines throughout this version, adding some details and even some extra steamy scenes. This book brings you into a world of demons and angels where not all demons are bad and not all angels are good, but some of both are here on earth to protect humans and maintain a balance. this series keeps you on your toes while you follow the love of Kiera, a human, and Draven, an angel/demon halfbreed. Another person wrote in her review that this a book for teens, I dont know what she would allow her kids to read, but I certainly wouldnt want my daughter to read this....yet.... ill recommend it when she is older, as there are detailed sex scenes. Like I said, I liked hearing the audible version and will definitely be getting the other books as they come out in hopes that they too will have extra scenes.

I loved this book!

Dark and angsty! The book is like a Gothic twilight in a much better way, with an intensely gorgeous story.

Is it over yet? And the narrator's accents... 2 thumbs down.

I found this book very drawn out. Really, it could've ended hours before it did, if the author didn't take so long to get into the heart of the story. I can only assume that the author spent so much time on the build up for use in future books because it really did not help this story that much. Also, the Narrator had a terrible American accent which she used for several characters in the book which made it hard to listen to.

Main character is weak, book unnecessarily long!

The main character is so wimpy (cries too much and can't fight for her life), obsessive and so much just goes over her head. The story didn't reveal much in like 20 hours! Am not getting the next book.

Has potential but needs better editing

I was really excited to start this series until I did. Let me start by saying I have over a 1,000 audiobooks in my library and I rarely write negative reviews. I have never been so inclined to fast forward through a book as this one. The author spends way to much time describing people, places and things to the detriment of the story. There is truly a good story underneath the excessive descriptions, if you have the time to dig through to the heart of the book. Unfortunately, as much as I would love to recommend this author, I just can’t until she gets some better editing!

Great Story slow start. not the right narrator

I wasn't sure if I was going to finish this for about the first half of the book. I had a very hard time with the narrator and felt that some of the characters sounded terrible. I did enjoy the story and will continue this series.

Narration Needs Work

The storyline itself is intriguing. I couldn't stand to listen to the narrator and her horrible accent trying to sound American from her original British accent. I literally couldn't finish it.

this book kept me on my toes and up at night. I was absolutely amazed at how much I loved this book, actually the whole series.

Great Book- Need Additional Voices

The book was good. LIked the story. Rebecca Rainsford did a great job with Kaz but did a poor job doing the male voices and some of the female voices. Need additional actors.

I love this series and own all the books. I decided to purchase the audio books to give me something to listen to while cleaning or in the car. I have to say the first book is at this time the only book given a discount to customers who have already purchased the books. Book two is not discounted. I find this disheartening. I had hoped to purchase all the audio books. At almost $30.00 each I don't foresee that happening. With that said, the audio books are well done. I wondered how the characters would be performed. I will say I think Rebecca did a good job. I have already listened to the book twice.
