Fitness plan very straightforward. Practical and appears to be easy to follow. Looking forward to getting started.

A lot of science in the first half of the book, takes some perseverance to get through all this .

I actually am looking forward to replaying the whole audio book as it seems to contain a whole lot of information I can learn and grow from. I loved it and appreciated the honesty. Thank you Brian for putting your trials, errors and knowledge learned into this book and sharing it with us out here!

Great information

Had some very useful easy to understand information. I am going to implement the PPL, and 2-1-2 model into my training. I loved this book from start to finish!

Not bad.

The nutritional tips are a bit old and FDA based. I personally didn't gain much but it's obvious the author is passionate about fitness/ making your goals and I'm sure this book can help many people.

Great kickstart for a new health program

I enjoyed this book a lot. It’s straight-forward and touches on diet, stress, anxiety, working out, and the mindset you need to stay motivated. I wouldn’t say there’s anything groundbreaking in the book, but it is enough to inspire you to get going. I’d recommend the book.

Well written, teaches a lot about fitness as well as about life.

Liked the last chapters, when he emphasized in mindset as well as strategies for life and similar situations readers might be in.

Excellent Starting Point


This seems to be written for those who are just now beginning their fitness journey. If it that is what you are looking for, go right ahead. Me personally I'm not a huge fan of the direct language and what seems to be some ad homenem, but honestly that's just a personal qualm and I'm not going to rate a book based on my own biases.
This was great for a beginner, perhaps a decent mindless listen for an expert.
