Great narrator
Such poetic writing. It was my first time purchasing a book bug anais nin. The narrator is what made the book great for me.

good, but not complete
I was using audible for my book club and disnt realize until I got to my party that this isn't the whole book. they've left chapters out. and until you listen to the whole think, you dont even know what has been left out.

Wow!
What an earful! The narrator's whispery, filmy voice, her fab accent, the dizzying content, its all just a big sugary earful! Anyone who fancies themselves having lived a previous life as a film noir star, or as a courtesan, or some sort of glam girl, will loooooove this book.

I couldn't make it through.
Would you try another book from Anais Nin and/or Ingrid Pitt?
I don't think I would try any others. After reading reviews and having it suggested, I really tried to get through it. I just couldn't get past the narration. Sometimes it just ruins the story.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narration was the worst part. Annoying.. I deleted it before I could get through 30 minutes.

Sexy, sultry, strong!
I enjoyed this book very much, I mean who wouldn’t? It’s a series of short stories filled with sultry erotica. However, I didn’t enjoy the performance and accent of the narrator. In some parts I couldn’t understand a thing she was saying.
I recommend it, anyway.

That Glorious Being: Woman
These stories are sexy and classy. The prose is elegant. And Ingrid Pitt"s sensual, playful voice is the ideal mediator between these holy stories and all devout lover's of that great Being called Woman.
