Another outstanding Jane Henry book!

I received this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. Although I want to know what will happen at the end of a Jane Henry book, I always hate for it to come to an end. I get so invested in her characters. But at least I know she will have another tantalizing book waiting for me. In this story she has intrigue, suspense, family loyalty, crime lords, several twists and turns, dark romance, love, and hot sensual sex. Demyan is the head of the Bratva. He is a very dominant and ruthless man. Larissa is a very strong woman that is ready to die to protect her sister. Put all of these elements together and you have a book that is so hard to put down. Now to make it even better and hotter add Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott as the narrators. Their off of the charts chemistry comes through in the voices of the characters. Wen creates a dominant as well as sexy Russian accent for Demyan. Kai gives Larissa a strong and at times scared voice. Both also give the other characters voices that fit them. All of the above creates an Audible book definitely worth listening to.

Love this writer and this series

Amazing story line a can't put down kinda book. I highly recommend it. Love and a secret and a DOM can't go wrong

So delicious!

Suspense, darkness, alpha male, strong female, loyalty, passion, what more do you want in a story? This second book in the Wicked Doms series is a little darker than the first and is oh so good! We met Demyan before, but now we get his story. He takes his job as head of the Bratva very seriously and when it comes to revenge he is a master. Until he meets his match with Calina. She is taken and meant to pay after she steals from the Bratva, but there is something about her that he cannot resist. But will he be able to keep her safe now? Henry writes this suspenseful story, with not only a dark aura, but adds a passion that is unmatched. I love her characters, each being complex, and we get to see all the layers as the story unfolds. this one has some unexpected twists and turns and kept me on edge until the very end. I had to stay up to finish!

With Demyan, Henry needed to pick a narrator who not only can pull off a Russian accent, but do it with an authoritative sound that will not only instill fear, but passion as well. The choice of Wen Ross gave it all to us. His narration is perfect, bringing the dark alpha dom to life, making us cringe and love him all at the same time. To compliment this character, we need a strong female, with emotional baggage and a voice that has the ability to tremor or lovable. Kai Kennicott is that narrator, blending with Ross and bringing this dual point of view story to life. It's one you do not want to miss.

GET THIS BOOK!
This story was excellent...compelling and gut-wrenching. I yelled out loud too many times with this one, I was so enveloped in it. These two performing, as usual, is magic! Complete Magic! Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are just Narrative Gold.

Just get the damn book. It's so worth the credit.
