Publisher's summary

These spicy, over-the-top Russian Mafia romances are about sexy, dangerous men who'll stop at nothing to pursue and protect the woman they want. If you love outrageously naughty stories as a way to indulge your not-so-secret bad girl side, these Why Choose romances are for you.

1) Cruel Promise
2) Brutal Ruin
3) Vicious Revenge

Note: while not required, you may like to read the novella, My Bratva Christmas, first.

These books is intended for adults. They feature a heroine with multiple love interests as well as mature themes including kidnapping, murder, spanking, edging, and gripping sexy times.

worth the read

the performance was great. makes it feel as though there are that many people telling the story. I had a hard time putting the book down. you definitely need to know this book has hard topics. there were a few points in this story that I remember yelling at the writer, if you know what I mean. things that happened no reasonable person who is just starting to go through some of the stuff would be like, sure I'm going to let you just smack me for no reason, more so she didn't seem to see that in any of her personal relationships. spoiler, when she gets spanked the first time, okay she has no choice. the second time, there was so much wrong with that. or a child who grew up taking care of a young child (her sister) and not thinking about a plan to get out, or in the run, turn around with and take your sister right away. I understand it's a story but knowing survivors, that wouldn't have happened and by the slight chance, maybe my will to run is more then the next, even if she was hot for the guys right away, with the world of cop shows, I would think once you change, you run. bus to bus changing regularly. great book. it's all how you listen to the story but everyone I guess thinks differently.

Kai and Wen for the Win

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are always an amazing team. By the end of Book 3 the story became somewhat drawn out, but that could also be because I binge-listened to it all. Overall it was an exciting ride.

good but the ending....

I was all into this story. I love a why choose, forced proximity theme but boy did that ending leave my unfulfilled. a bit anticlimactic after 3 books of drama. overall it was good

Protagonist is a Marry Sue....

it was ok on the spice scale but the MFC was an absolute MarrySue. She made horrible choices with no repercussions or relatable consequences. She Just bumbles through the action making horrid choices and it all works out cause she's just so beautiful and amazing...

Horribly Written!!

This was the most horribly written book I’ve ever heard! The narrators were just as awful.
