It has everything that a dark romance mafia should have I really recommend it enjoyed it very much

Ok story

I have a love/hate relationship for dark mafia/romance books🙄 but this one bothered me throughout. First, when we learn she saw her mother being raped in front of her fighting and then killed, she was traumatized. She even has nightmares. So, hard to believe she would be ok with someone taking her virginity like it was taken without any fight ( no matter how hot the guy is),
Let me just say no man in the world would allow his wife to be raped over and over and not do something. Even if it does get him killed. Even for those times she didn’t tell him, your told she’s covered in bruises on her thighs, etc.. he loves his wife and daughter, so, yea, no! He would get them out somehow before what happened, happened. It was just a matter of time.
Also, 3-4 men in the car when they get ambushed and none call for back up or the boss before all killed??
Main female character has no fight in her. She just does what’s she’s told throughout book. Doesn’t get any balls until last 20 minutes of book. Really? She’s in the mafia life since she was 10 and now a mafia wife!
Main male character doesn’t get to know her at all, insta love for them both in such a violent world, she can’t stop admiring his looks from the moment they meet?? Really!
Not to mention, he confesses he had taken several virgins himself over the years. he is obviously involved in the sex trade even after you find out what happened to his sister since he thought about selling her off!! WTF!
One twist was easy to figure out since the beginning but the other twist was a great throw in, I love it when I’m caught off guard ( didn’t take long to figure it out but not instantly, so good job there.
I personally liked both narrators. I felt like they both did a Great job. Overall, I did enjoy the read. It just had some holes for me.

SIMPLY AMAZING

I can listen to the male narrator ALL DAY. His accent really brings the H's character to life all the more. The female narrator was very good too. The story is riveting and sucks you in. I highly recommend giving this a listen. the Author really wrote this book VERY WELL.

LOVED IT !!!

I loved this book. It was interesting, had action and steam and I never got bored. I have read other reviews stating they don't like Sarah Puckett's voice, I have no idea why. I think she does a great job. Worth the credit.

It was okay

The narrators were okay, It took a few chapters for me to get into the book. Then once it picked up , I got interested in the story. To me it more mystery than love story . But ended great, wirh a HEA.

I bought this book and didnt listen to for three months. It was a little long and I was worried id get bored. But I really enjoyed, good mafia romance.

Gregory Salinas did an Excellent job with the Russian accent.

Just enough to tell there was a strong accent but not to real you could not understand what he was saying .

It had you Guessing who the Decieverer was till the end .

The Author did an excellent job writing this story. She tied any lose ends up.

Everyone can change even the dark one's.

It may sound strange but this book can give people hope to never stop loving or caring about others. Even if they come from a dark place. So people never stop loving and caring for others because darkness is trying to take over this world and we can't let it happen. so everyone look at yourself in the mirror on a daily basis and ask yourself if you can live with the person that you see in the mirror.
