Am I missing something?

The story was excellent - I want to put that out there. And it could have been steamy - a lot of dirty talk, but then - all of a sudden- it’s the next morning (or “much later”)! What the heck?

That aside, I am undecided about getting the other books in the series at the moment. I miss the details from the s3xy times.

Gripping and lovely

The story is so beautiful and the two narrators just bring it to life. The story leaves you full but also wanting you to learn more about this family, in the best way possible.

Jane always blows me away with her writing. Her imagination and plots are always awesome and will keep your attention the entire time.

Great beginning to the series!

Great story to begin the series. Vittoria and Romeo meet in some very dangerous circumstances. They then meet again at a will reading and some surprises come from that.

After some forced proximity between them, things do get a bit hot and heavy. He wants obedience, she doesn’t think she should. Push and pull between, as well as the chemistry growing.

I can see I’m going to enjoy the forthcoming books, the world building by Jane Henry is amazing.

I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, one of my favorite duos. They bring the story to life, Kai brings the character of Vittoria as a very strong woman, but also how she falls for the very alpha Romeo, who Wen does a superb job at bringing that character to life. He’s the leader of the family and has to command with his voice. Love when Kai and Wen narrate a story together.

Amazing plot loved how Romeo Rossi the underboss try to seduce Victoria and how dominant he is and a lovely brat she is how Narciso his father causes a huge problem, I loved the hot scenes and action amazing books and amazing narrators that brought to life this amazing book.

Great listen

Jane henry has come to be one of my go to authors to read, this book was no disappointment. Romeo is just getting out of jail and is waiting to become the head of the family. The way him and Vittoria first meet is interesting and then how the remeet and their story is so interesting and I wasn’t expecting it. But you also can’t help but root for them to trust each other. I can’t wait for Orlando’s story and will read any other stories from this new series

Another great story written by Jane Henry and narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. I loved everything about this in both reading it and then listening to it!

Exciting!

Jane can write a story that will melt me into a puddle. They are so exciting until the end!
Kai and Wen have a special connection with their narration! I can feel the tension and love in their voices.

Not my favorite

Tried a new author and honestly 2 chapters in I regretted this purchase but, refused to let a credit go to waste.

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 Captivating & Twisted!

Jane Henry never ceases to amaze me with her brilliantly creative mind and impressive writing skills. “Oath of Silence” is a perfect example of what she does best, creating a dark mafia romantic suspense that is original with interesting characters and storylines that are captivating from start to end. Her descriptive details bring right alongside the characters, allowing you to experience everything they do, what they are thinking, seeing and feeling. The characters are easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about and like too. Romeo Rossi is the underboss of the Rossi crime family with plans to take over the empire from the current boss, his father. Celebrating his release after doing a stint in jail for a crime, he did not commit, the last thing he was expecting was to do something that could land him right back in prison. Victoria DeSanto was down on her luck, she lost everything after her ex swindled her out of her savings and her apartment. Then she receives a letter of an inheritance, is it possible her luck has changed? With all that she had left to her name, she heads to Boston for the reading of the will despite not knowing the person who died. She stops for something to eat the night before the meeting and runs into trouble, but someone saves her and tells her to disappear and never speak of what she saw. It turns out fate had other plans for her. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with a perfect balance of drama, angst, thrilling suspense, action, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Jane Henry, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride. Loved the references to Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet at the start of each chapter too.

🎧 📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that suited that character’s persona and was believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

This book was amazing but the narrators really brought it to life. They were spot on for the characters and I was hooked from the very beginning.

The narrators were amazing, as always. The story...not so much. It was interesting in the beginning, but as the story went on i found myself struggling to finish it.

Dangerous!

Oath of Silence is a standalone in the Deviant Doms series. It is engaging and dangerous with lots of twists and turns. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Vittoria and Romeo have an intense relationship. Their sexual chemistry is undeniable, but he wants complete control in and out of the bedroom, and she isn't one to be told what to do all the time which all makes for an entertaining storyline. If you love mafia romance, then you will love this one.

What’s not to love about this story?? It’s hot and steamy and the chemistry is off the charts. Romeo, Romeo what a catch. I loved the story and the characters.

The narrators didn’t disappoint, a job well done.
