Publisher's Summary

This box set includes all five books in the USA Today recommended Elementals series of magic, adventure, mythology, and romance.

Nicole Cassidy is a witch descended from the Greek gods...but she doesn't know it until she moves to a new town and discovers a dangerous world of magic and monsters that she never knew existed.

When the Olympian Comet shoots through the sky for the first time in 3,000 years, Nicole and four others - including mysterious bad-boy Blake - are gifted with elemental powers. But the comet has another effect - it opens the portal to another dimension that has imprisoned the Titans for centuries. After an ancient monster escapes, it's up to Nicole and the others to follow a cryptic prophecy in time to save the town...and possibly the world.

Good lord!

I can’t even explain how seriously frustrating this book was. Every character was a whiny child and did the dumbest crap imaginable. I was so excited the listen to this book but it was such a disappointment. All the small unimportant conversations and story plots that the book didn’t need to convey the story were a complete and utter pain in the ass. The saving grace was how the reader added the emotional drama to each character. The only problem was they complain and whined soooooooooooooooooo much the acting became annoying. Please skip this series unless your like 12 and live this type of childish life.

Good not great

This was a good story. If you enjoy mythology, magic and teen anxieties it’s for you. It’s not an award winning, movie making book. However, I did really enjoy the plot, characters, and narration. The biggest issue for me was that the main character recapped the same information over and over. It really slowed the plot. This set really is one complete book. Where one book starts and ends is awkward like shes trying to create suspense but it doesn’t work. It’s better to hear it straight through.

Great read!

Interesting books. Really loved how even though Nicole was the reason they all got their enhanced powers they all really shared in being the leader. often times it's I'm the leader and that's it. Where in reality people tend to share leader roles based on situations so it was very realistic in that. Great characters and development.

was pretty addicting

This book series was pretty good. The mythology used was pretty much accurate. The only thing that I didn't like was that the whole series takes place over several weeks until the last 10 chapters in the last book, then we skip 2 months. I felt like there was more story that could have been told.

Awesome

Though I’m not the biggest fan of the ending, but overall this series was great. Lots of thrills, tears, frustration, and all kinds of other feelings were felt while reading. The characters are great. The story is attention holding. I loved them over all. Definitely will recommend this to other readers.

The narrator tried really hard!

This book series is terrible and repetitive. The narrator is great, and did the best she could with what she had.

Rambling dialogue

I overall liked the series and would buy a new one about this group of friends. That said, I had to fast forward through Nicole’s ramblings about poor her or Blake. It was a bit excessive. I liked the reader and styles for the characters.

Nichole is the most selfish

Maybe this is what was intended to take focus of Daniel.
it was hard making it through this book. I may have chosen a book too young for me.
while the narrator has limited range and seemed at first to just read the words. later on in the series, she gets a clue about inflection and starts to bring colour to what seemed a boring fantasy.
The last 20 some odd chapters in the book felt like the author had been threatened with the gaze of Medusa if they didn't tack on 10k more words to the manuscript.

nice modern take on an old story format
but for my own opinion the story is a bit slow.

A good overall book but!

The main character repeats things a lot, and is a bit woe is me. But overall a good series.
