One of my favorite series!

Wow! This was the first book I read by Elle, but from Chapter One, I was an instant fan! I was hooked right away, but by a few chapters in a couldn't even put it down. Like, literally...I abandoned all responsibilities and binged the 20-something remaining chapters in the book!

This book had everything I love: a hilarious MC with a filthy mouth, even filthier mind, and super HOT scenes (I'm surprised my device didn't overheat) for starters! There's something to fall in love with in all the brothers and the ending has me dying for the next book already, so thankfully book 2 is already out on audio!

I read the book first and then listened to the audio later. I looked experiencing the story in a whole new way. I give the narrator 4/5 stars. She has a nice voice to listen to and does a great job at different voices for the characters. The only area she could improve on is her execution of the steamy scenes.

I can’t believe just how much.....

I LOVED this book! I’m usually not a huge fan of reverse harem tales but this one was fantastic! Im so glad I didn’t realize this was a reverse harem when I chose it because I wouldn’t have even considered it. Then, I would’ve missed out on what might end up being a new favorite series for me! As it was, I couldn’t put it down. I cared about all the characters....and just like the heroine, I couldn’t pick my favorite prince. I absolutely can’t wait to find out where the next book will take these characters! Vanessa Moyen did a fabulous job giving each character a unique voice and bringing them to life for the listener. All around 5 stars!

YOU SHOULD READ IT!!!!

This audiobook legit saved me from watching bad reality tv. At that point, I had become so bored that when I found this book, I nearly cried with joy. Alexis was just so lovable to me, it was insane how much I enjoyed this book. I legit listened to this book and went on to read the others, one after the other with little sleep in between, that was just how much I loved it. I devoured this series, and support it so much.

Vanessa Moyen is one of my go-to narrators. I honestly feel as though she read a dictionary and I would be interested, that's just how much I love her voice. She did this book justice, and vice versa. This book not only complimented her skills as a narrator, but her skills as a narrator brought this book to life. I believe there was no better person for the job.

I would definitely recommend this to anybody and have already sung its praises to any and all that'll listen.

Speedy the sloth

Honestly wasn't sure if I would like the book, but the sloth had me sold so I got it. So glad I did! Steamy, funny, awesome storyline. Can't wait to see what's next. Getting the next book now.

Ugh, where's the story?

I kept waiting for a story to form and for this book to go somewhere, but it just didn't. If you want a book that has a lot of heated sexual scenes without much of a storyline, than this is your book.

Reverse harem with brothers.

While some people might find the idea of having sex with brothers to me that coms of a bit incestous and I cant really get into it and it does not reflect polyamory in a good way either. I dont really get it. Why do they have to be related? Anyway there is a good story in there behind it all but it gets very clouded by the love story aspect. Narration is great as anything Vanessa does.

What a Wild Ride!!!! What an Ending...

This book was such a GREAT surprise... I mean she has a pet sloth, who keeps trying to commit suicide....

The Storm King is a piece of work.... But his son's are Sexy AF!!!!

Alexis is funny, sassy, smart and goes from peasant to princess.....

Can't wait to see what comes next.....

Hot and Steamy

Wow! This book was great, definitely R rated content, very hot and steamy. The characters were great and well defined. We follow Alexis as she is given powers, joins the Fae world, and has to choose which of the 4 very sexy princes to marry. I couldn’t put this book down and binged listened to it in a day! Can’t wait until book 2 comes out on Audible!

Oh this was an amazing introduction to this series and i can't wait to get my hands on book 2. Narration was amazing and writing was very well done.

Amazing and addictive - just get the whole series!

I loved this book so much I need to get the whole series, book 1 ends on a cliff hanger - that you won't want to wait to resolve! I was captivated from the first page and didn't move until I finished the book, and was left desperate for more, I'm desperate to find out what happens next.The FMC Alexis is sassy & snarky, and the Storm Princes never knew what hit them, and she may be just what they need to take on their father, the villainous Storm King. I can't recomend this book highly enough, and the narration is excellent.

I actually enjoyed the character.You grow up one way but when you get older all things change. This book was great from start to finish. This great book had love,tears and it wants you want to read the next book. This book also also keeps you wounding who can trust and who you can't

I need the next book ASAP. After a very stressful first week of classes, I needed something to read for pleasure, and no better choice I made than reading this book. It was witty, funny and hot. I'm waiting (impatiently) for her next release! ;) Alexis is a commoner, until one day she meets a dying man in the forest and find herself with powers. Of course the king wants her, and he makes her choose one of his four sons to marry. Alexis moves to the castle and she gets to meet Cal, Ben, Dan and Rob. She expected to find four assholes, but little did she know that they much similar to her than she thought. And choosing just one is not an option for her. If you add a loving best friend and a suicidal sloth to the mix, it becomes the perfect combo!

Great start to the series

Taken by Storm, the first book in Storms of Blackwood series is a wonderfully written reverse harem fantasy romance. The world-building was fascinating and the storyline, entertaining and well-plotted. It drew me in from the start, keeping my attention through the end. The characters were diverse, vibrant, and delightful, and I enjoyed their dynamics.

Excellent narration by Vanessa Moyen. She emulated the characters very nicely, bringing the story to life. Taken by Storm was an enjoyable listen, and I'm looking forward to finding out what's next for Alexis, our sassy heroine. I recommend this audiobook! I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Good story

I enjoyed the storyline and the sloth was a funny sidetrack which is needed in most books. I reccomend this for anyone who likes RH.

OMG! This is a med to fast burn RH. That ending is one heck of a cliffhanger. I love Speedy the sloth! I need the next book like today!

RH with a plot

I love RH books but often they do not have a substantial plot. This one does. The author has created an awesome world that this story takes place in. In a land where a king and his sons are the only ones left with magical powers, a woman mistakenly receive powers and the king decides she must marry one of his sons. The princes are all equally lovable of course. The story has some predictable moments but it’s a fun and easy start to the series. Looking forward to future books!

Fantastic world

Loved this book right from the start the world building was excellent love our main character and the guys and her sloth!!!
The tension between the characters is brilliant and intriguing.
Vanessa Moyen is the perfect narrator for this to. Wonderful.

Absolutely Brilliant

I absolutely loved this book. I thought the narrator was perfect for the tone of the book. The character and relationship development is fantastic. I got so caught up in this book that I couldn't stop listening. There is some great laugh out loud moments and some sad, heart stopping ones. It's a rollercoaster ride that I didn't want to get off.
