Under mounting pressure from the police, Hunter takes matters into his own hands by questioning anyone who might know the truth and posting videos to prove his innocence. When Hunter learns he and Chloe were seen arguing loudly outside the dance, he faces a sickening possibility: Was he angry enough to kill the person he loved?

Mid Ending

Overall was a good book with some major exciting plot twists and caring characters but has a really sad and pretty bad ending

Great story

My first book by David Bell and I enjoyed it so much. The mystery and suspense keeps you turning the pages until the very last one. The performance by Eddie Lopez brought the story to life.

I listened to it in a day! Great narration and it was easy to follow. Definitely a surprise at the ending

Nice Quick Read

Could have had a more shocking twist, but still a great suspenseful mystery. It serves up little pieces of information slowly but surely, but leaves a rather predictable outcome through too much foreshadowing. I enjoyed the characters and environment though, dives into how a person could really feel in a situation like that.

Kept me thinking

This was a great YA thriller. Catch you guessing at what was going on. Great storyline and the twist was phenomenal.

First time reading a book by this author and won’t be my last! This was a great book!

Unexpected twist

What an interesring, quick listen! The story started a bit slow for me, but quickly picked up the pace and I couldn't put it down. The story is compelling and the characters feel real. The narration is great- the difference between characters' voices are different enough to be distinguished, without being annoying.

Quick read!

Loved the story and how it developed. David Bell is one of my new favorite authors ,and I was not disappointed with this book! The narrator did a great job with the story, and I was able to tell characters apart. Can't wait for my next D Bell read!

Twists and turns

I really enjoyed this book. As soon as I thought I had the ending figured out…. I was hit with a very chilling and suspenseful ending. I didn't expect it at all!
