Great book

Alright, so this book teaches some underhanded and somewhat deceptive tactics at manipulating and influencing people you encounter. Are these skills necessarily evil to possess, or are you at a disadvantage for not knowing them yourself? That's an important question to ask. Frankly, some people use these tactics on YOU in the corporate world, regardless of whether or not they are even aware of it. But overall i found the book to be fun, entertaining, and engaging.

A truly remarkable and wonderful guide.

Negotiation is one of the most important skills especially in business. Just imagine if you wanted to have a business and you don't know how to negotiate. Your business will only be put into waste. Every time you negotiate, you are looking for an increased advantage. This book delivers it. Such an impressive book about dark psychology. Actually this is my very first time that I listen this kind of book and I was so impressed on how it was written. Body Language: An Ex-Spy's Guide to Master the Art of Nonverbal Communication to Know What People Are Really Thinking in Any Situation...great grab i love this BUNDLE.

Practical tips

Would you listen to Thinking: Like a Spy again? Why?

Good content, especially for ses people and those who want to promote a cause or idea. Very practical. I would like consistent categories of what is it and then the example. Some tips are embedded in a story or example so to pull out and make a personal list is challenging

Which character – as performed by Tom Taverna – was your favorite?

I definitely recommend this audiobook to a friend because it is well narrated and simple enough to follow while not compromising quality content.

What did you learn from Thinking: Like a Spy that you would use in your daily life?

I found it very interesting and helpful, as the concepts apply to different aspects of life.<br/>

Any additional comments?

This book is great because it keeps you intrigued throughout. The real life examples that are used to explain the topics help me relate the types of negotiations that need to take place to get me what I want and to grow the pie. This book is a must for anyone that is interested in learning about negotiations.

Simple but effective

Great book. One of those gems. Internalizing the info and associating it to different possible scenarios is what will require the most of your time, but there a lot of wisdom in this book that can help anyone in many different life scenarios. I wish i had read this sooner.

A fantastic book

What made the experience of listening to Thinking: Like a Spy the most enjoyable?

Mind is such a powerful thing. I found it interesting and useful. However, it was strange that he uses the word "whilst" too often. It's peculiar bc he says he is an American former spy, and also writes about using the lexicon of his audience.

Have you listened to any of Tom Taverna’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Tom Taverna was an awesome. He manage to narrate this book nicely. I just liked what he does.

Any additional comments?

This book is an unquestionable requirement read for any individual who is occupied with choice science. Frankly, some people use these tactics on YOU in the corporate world, regardless of whether or not they are even aware of it. But overall i found the book to be fun, entertaining, and engaging.

Helpful Guide Book

This book does a very good job of helping you understand body language. It blends the theory behind body language with numerous pictures and practical explanations for observing and interpreting people's non-verbal behavior. This book does what the title promises, and gives us a look into the potential that Limited Liability Companies and Limited Partnerships hold for business owners. In addition, the book is well-organized, and the cases he develops to illustrate his points are easy to follow and tie in well with their respective topics. Highly recommended.

Your easy guide.

This book will teach you how to use their inner strength and how to effectively reach, what you want to achieve. The credibility is of utmost importance in any area of our lives. There are many books on the subject, and many of them are very large and not always the information supplied effective way. In this book, you can easily learn about the basic principles and common situations. Easily read, remember and well-formatted book. I particularly appreciated James Daugherty attitude that the signs can show you something is up, but it is not definitive and you only get the answer (hopefully) with more investigation.

Fascinating book.

I bought this book about a year ago and I have read it about two times, this will be my third time reading it again. The pictures included in the book are very helpful. This book gives me the full understanding on persuasion. To be a successful in life, in anything you do, you need the skills to effectively communicate with other people. You need them to agree with you, to support you, to back you up. I should say that I have learned a lot from this book.

Overall, it's a really good book that won't disappoint you.

Insightful and intriguing

A insightful book about persuasion. Learn its techniques and conversational strategies for influence in any kind of situation. This is mixture of methodical methods combined with real life examples to back up the author’s advice. This is a clever guide about communication and persuasion tricks described that will help you in all areas of life from career, relationships and everything in between. Lots of details to help anyone who is interested in knowing what others are thinking but not saying verbally. This book also helps you to identify body signals that you, yourself may unknowingly display. Together, it gives you a better understanding of where you are as you communicate with others. I gave it a 4 star because I think the Index could have been more helpful in finding things you might notice. Otherwise, the author comes across as an experienced professional whose life was devoted to detecting things not spoken.
