Not much to learn from...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

If you already know Spark people, you will waste your time with this book. If you don't, it is a OK book but nothing revolutionary in this method.

Was The Spark worth the listening time?

Not really

One of the Best Books ever written

If you have been struggling with weight loss issues and have tried every single diet known to man or woman, this book is for you.
This is not a "DIET" diets don't work, and set you up for failure.
This book is about making small changes, one step at a time, and as you make these small changes, you begin to "spark" other changes.
I personally had given up, and taken a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) attitude. I was observing life from the sidelines, and after reading this book, so far I've lost 70 pounds in 14 months, and I am now enjoying participating in life.
If I can do this, so can you.

I am a Sparker!

What did you love best about The Spark?

Chris Downie's personal experience and how he build the Sparkpeople business and why he is wants and is able to keep it free. He is a very sincere guy and you can tell in the way he write's this book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Spark?

How Chris, without knowing it at the time, sparked a coworker of his named Pat. That story is so inspirational.

What did you learn from The Spark that you would use in your daily life?

I am a member of Sparkpeople and have lost a lot of weight. I have made many friends along the way as well. I use the "Four Corner Stones" everyday. The corner stones are very easy to incorporate into your daily life and build on one another.

You are buying an advertisement

What disappointed you about The Spark?

The book is just one long advertisement for the website. He mentions his clients over and over again.

Would you ever listen to anything by Chris Downie again?

If I ever think that I'm just not getting exposed to enough marketing in my life and I feel the need to pay for some more, I will grab his next book.

Any additional comments?

I've listened to at least 20 audiobooks and this is the first time I actually wanted my money back! I couldn't finish it.

Just story telling, no breakthrough

What would have made The Spark better?

talking about losing weight, getting fit, nutrition information‎ would have been nice, anything

What could Chris Downie have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

not write it.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

cant answer this question, just a waste of time

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

one word: DUMBFOUNDED

Any additional comments?

Don't buy it, if you are interested in learning more about fitness and nutrition.
