    What made the experience of listening to Self-Discipline the most enjoyable?

    Yes I learned lots of useful information are available in this audio book.


    What does Tom Taverna bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    I liked the way that he was able to simp. if you the material that he was conveying. And he narrator did an excellent job in delivery.

    Although this book is meant to be informative, I gained more than just information. I became motivated to explore the other parts of my personality that I haven’t really paid attention to. The ideas that really struck me in this book are the development of humor and the attitude of gratitude. There are various techniques presented by the author, which any reader can use. We can indeed expand our potentials if we only learn to control our emotions, instincts, and thoughts. While self-control is without a doubt a basic instrument that causes us achieve achievement, thriving, and plenitude, a hefty portion of us continually battle with creating and keeping up self-control. An excellent read!

    "Definitely enjoyed reading it!"
    Would you consider the audio edition of Self-Discipline to be better than the print version?

    I think both are good.


    What did you like best about this story?

    This book is immensely valuable, and very much needed by most people. It isn't even that the book itself is so fantastic, though it is definitely a good book, clearly written, good ideas, well executed. This book looks at willpower from a scientific point of view and how it evolved with our brains.


    What about Tom Taverna’s performance did you like?

    Clear, good pacing, did a nice job.


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    It's definitely an eye-opener and an interesting audiobook.

    Understand the basic cognitive principles on how the brain actually works It shows you ways of strengthening your willpower. It also shows you how your brain plays tricks on you to make you do things you don't necessarily want to do. If you're interested in either starting or stopping any kind of behavior, this book is well worth your time.

    This is a well researched, well-written, and well-thought out book. The concepts are easy to understand on their own, but the author gives extensive and easy to follow explanations on habits, motivation, and willpower. Nothing to compare

    "Motivating Book With Great Ideas !!!"
    Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Surely i'll recommend this book. Very well written book,straight to the point with good insight on how to achieve your goals. A quick read full of helpful information for digging deep to strengthening self-discipline so you can get things done

    I enjoyed the structure of each chapter; it had a very logical layout. Additionally, the end of each chapter contained a bullet point list of the concepts covered with a quick summary of each. Highly recommend it for e everyone that needs a few guidelines and a kick in the rump to get motivated.

    That was a really, really good book. Yes, although I have read a lot of other books in that genre, I learned something new from this one! Besides that, I was encouraged to continue working on having a positive and grateful pattern of thinking, because that’s what makes such a colossal impact on your life. Not only on how you PERCEIVE life, but your actual living conditions. That’s how you transform your life beyond what you think is possible.
    I have used the techniques described in the book earlier, and I am here to testify that they work! So, when I was recommended the book by a friend, I bought it right away.
    I can only recommend that you do the same.

    This is a fascinating book, written in narrative form that works pretty well. The concept is powerful but the narrative gets a bit cute at times. It's a book I'm going to need to re-read a couple of times for the concept to become "imprinted" into my thinking. The approach it suggests is applicable to companies, nonprofits and even individuals.

    "Such a life-changing listen"

    These books have given me so much useful information and at the same time enjoyment while reading them. Such a life-changing read! I would seriously recommend this set of self-help books. I think this is just an amazing set of books on self-help and self-growth. Just tons of vital strategies and techniques to practice and deal with low self-confidence and negative thinking and so much more. Definitely recommended! I'll recommend this to everyone. It's quick and easy listen with lots of insights.

    To my surprise, it reads more like a personal coach’s guide on how to perform more effectively. It is well written, easy to understand, and filled with practical advice. Strong self-discipline, obvious internal, enhances performance. The book offers guidance on goal setting, strengthening your endurance and tolerance, accountability, visualizing long-term rewards, and recovering from slips. Much useful advice in a concise package.<br/><br/>This book is really a great resource for those who want to learn more about Self-Discipline.

    Would you listen to Self-Discipline again? Why?

    I absolutely loved this book! I've probably listened to it to it 3 or 4 times already.


    What other book might you compare Self-Discipline to and why?

    It's very fast moving and the ideas are very well organized. I did not buy this book to find a never-before-heard of secret to self-discipline and so hearing familiar thoughts and ideas was in no way a disappointment to me.

    Rather I'd hoped to find motivational encouragement to put into practice those ideas I know to be true about achieving greatness in life and this book absolutely delivers! I'll definitely be listening to this book many more times. I honestly find myself already doing hard things that I would rather procrastinate and that is the motivation I hoped to find in this book. Two thumbs up!
