Publisher's summary

Created and recorded by award-winning writer and clinical hypnotist Maggie Dubris, this audio hypnosis session is designed to be listened to at bedtime. It is similar to the inspired novel title, integrating relaxing images of a tropical forest with that of a butterfly refuge to gather images to be used the next day. However, the suggestions can be applied to equally to fiction, nonfiction, screenwriting, or poetry.

Well Done. Don't Buy Both "Inspired" Titles

I'm not an expert on hypnosis recordings. That being said, I have found Maggie Dubris' recordings to be relaxing. With a couple of other products I've tried, I've found the delivery itself to be distracting enough to miss the whole point of the exercise. Not so with these.

My biggest beef? I purchased both "Inspired Writing" and "Inspired Novel" and the majority of these selections are exactly the same. I would suggest choosing one or the other, but not both.

Very much worth the purchase

Where does Inspired Writing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This one is one that will stay at the top of my list. I've listened over and over again.

What did you like best about this story?

Maggie Dubris is a brilliant writer/performer. What ever your opinion on hypnosis, this is really really worth a listen. I like that it's short, it's perfect to be an audio book and it's one of my two go-to audio listens at bed time (the other go-to book is also from Maggie Dubris). I have listened to other audio books but find I am awake for hours listening so it doesn't serve the purpose to let me listen and drop off to sleep.

I noticed changes in my behaviour in the next few days and when I thought about it I realised it was this audio book that was focussing my actions.

What about the narrator’s performance did you like?

Very lovely, I can listen to Maggie Dubris all day

What did you learn from Inspired Writing that you would use in your daily life?

There are things as a writer I should do to hone my craft. On a daily basis you need to journal, make notes, write - even if it's a paragraph... I know this but don't always do it. This week there are things in my mind vying for my attention. Writing in my journal pops into my head as a

Any additional comments?

Thank you, very very good listen
