Publisher's Summary

Discover the hidden power soil has to reverse climate change and how a regenerative farming diet not only delivers us better health and wellness but also rebuilds our most precious resource - the very ground that feeds us.

Josh Tickell, one of America's most celebrated documentary filmmakers and director of Fuel, has dedicated most of his life to saving the environment. Now, in Kiss the Ground, he explains an incredible truth: By changing our diets to a soil-nourishing, regenerative agriculture diet, we can reverse global warming, harvest healthy, abundant food, and eliminate the poisonous substances that are harming our children, our pets, our bodies, and ultimately our planet.

Through fascinating and accessible interviews with celebrity chefs, ranchers, farmers, and top scientists, this remarkable book, soon to be a full-length documentary film narrated by Woody Harrelson, will teach you how to become an agent in humanity's single most important and time sensitive mission. Reverse climate change and effectively save the world - all through the choices you make in how and what to eat.

Josh Tickell has guts to say these things!!!

I'm deeply impacted by this book, it has changed my life, and now many around me!

I love how the author spoke up about so many things that are being completely ignored, and absolutely need to be acknowledged by the masses, not just the few people that pick up this book!

Do yourself and your love ones a favor by finishing this book in its entirety. It very well might save someone's life, possibly your own!

Thank you Mr Tickell

The key to enlightenment on our future!

I loved this book in its informational on the ground perspective. Facts are not mainstream but for sure make sense and unfortunately aren’t advertised by big money corporations. I’ve been wanting to get into agriculture after gardening for several years but being 24 has left me with little experience and outside help. This book definitely gives motivation and an edge to the upcoming progressives and simply more meaningful ways of life. I absolutely recommend this to everyone

Recommended by a crop consultant's wife in Kansas

I walk corn and soy fields each and every day for a living. I am also the mother of two young kids. This book has made me do a command stop on everything I have been taught in traditional row crop systems. Soil is not a chemistry set... it's living biology. It's not the math equation of NPK inputs, it's about the nutrition and profit per acre not bushels per acre for some dumb trophy. Thank you Jess Gnad for changing my life and hopefully the many farmers I will talk to through out my career.

How Agric Carbon Sequestration Can Save Us

Tickell presents very persuasive details on how modern agriculture is poisoning us, causing desertification, and contributing to global warming. We need to switch to regenerative agriculture to fix the world. This book tells how. It's a bit preachy toward the end, but otherwise it's a great book.
