Publisher's summary

Best-selling romance author Lexy Timms brings you a new sport romance series that'll blow your mind - it's dynamite!

"TNT" - Troubled Nate Thomas....

Dubbed so by the media because Nate's always getting into trouble. Talented, handsome, and halfway out the door, Nate Thomas is on his last chance with the Denver Broncos. No one will deny he's got skills - on the field and in the bedroom. However, his taste for the party lifestyle, his drinking, and his anger issues are putting his career in jeopardy.

Coach Johnson wants his starting quarterback to actually play the way his big-money contract states he can. He needs to find a way to get Nate's head back in the game. Threats, fines, and tickets don't seem to even slow Nate down.

With no choice but to try and risk the impossible, Coach Johnson hires a babysitter to look after Nate.

Amanda Jones is desperate for a job to help pay for her final year of her master's. She's got a thesis to write and thinks being an au pair is the easiest way to get her work done while making good money. She's stunned when she finds out she'll be taking care the infamous troublemaker, Nate Thomas, aka TNT.

The money's too good to say no to, but can she somehow convince this train-wreck of an athlete to get his crap together before they both destroy the one thing they're good at?

Enjoyed this Football Hero Story

Someone recommended this book and it took me a while to get into it. However, that was my loss. It is a great story. Nate is a big kid. I know many of them. However, although he acts adolescent, he is a very talented quarterback. The idea of him having a nanny is a bit preposterous. However, it works in this story. Amanda comes along and she is a bit screwed up to take such a job. Their romance has it's ups and downs, but in the end... The narrator did a great job. I couldn't stop listening, so I got the next in the series with my Romance Package.

Not her best

Gotta say, I was looking forward to this series and I’ll listen to the next two books BUT the writing is like an unseasoned author.
Narration is adequate but I don’t care for his female portrayal.

Funny situations

This is really fun romance. Amanda needs money and to get out of her apartment because of her roommate so she accepts a babysitting job. She really gets surprised when the individual she is to babysit is Nate. Not a child but a member of the Denver Broncos’. He is the stereotype reckless bad boy. Together they get into some of the funniest situations. The story flow is constant. The characters are likable. The Narrator, Benjamin Cartwright does a good job of making you see what is happening. I’m anxious to read the next in the series. This first of the series and does end in a cliffhanger.

Meh

I just could not connect with the characters or story. Sadly, this was a DNF for me.
