Natural Born Charmer

SEP was the first author I choose for my first audible book and after just finishing this third book about an American football team ( a game I know nothing about) all I can say is bring on the next member of the team. Every book has given me a laugh at some stage throughout the stories. Not to heavy, witty and fun.

Great listen!

This is another great book from Susan Elizabeth Phillips. The characters are endearing and it was uplifting to watch them evolve. I particularly enjoyed the multi-generational love stories. Great narrator.

when i need a laugh

Without SEP my life would be so boring, her sense of humor so refreshing and best of all you always learn something from her books. I love the Chicago stars series. To bad Anna Fields is no longer with us she was a great narrator.

Would you listen to Natural Born Charmer again? Why?

YES!!!!! Actually I have already listen to it twice. After the first hearing I had to have repeat. I mean opening of Dean coming upon Blue in a Beaver suit. OMG HILARIOUS!

Who was your favorite character and why?

That is such a tough pick, because I love Dean and Blue. Pretty much all of them.

What does Anna Fields bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I don't know. I guess when she starts singing Jack's part, I don't know if I could do the same thing in my head.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Dean realize he was in love with Blue.

Any additional comments?

This book is absolutely amazing. After listening to the story I had to listen to it again. It would be a story I would put on if I was feeling down and needed something give me a good ol' laugh.

I would, it's very entertaining

What other book might you compare Natural Born Charmer to and why?

I read all chicago stars series and i loved them all. My review point is characters, and i would say 'Natural Born Charmer' is the second best after 'Heaven Texas'. Bobby Denton is still more charming than Dean:-)

Which character – as performed by Anna Fields – was your favorite?

In this book almost all the characters. Anna is the best narrator ever ans she outdid herself. So sad she's not with us amymore.

Witty repartee

The conversations between the principal characters are witty and funny! Lots of unexpected plot twists! Quite imaginative sex scenes!

I love romances with a little class, a great hero and a lot of good dialogue. SEB almost always delivers, but this is by far her best. Blue and Dean have great chemistry. The secondary plots/ characters are a great addition rather than a distraction. Anna Fields as one of my favorite narrators. A must listen if you like a little class with your romance.

natural born story teller...

Football, beaver, hilarity, drama...combine and enjoy listening. S.E.P. gives us another involved story line. Good listening.
