Publisher's Summary

Dean Robillard is the Chicago Stars' hotshot quarterback. Not only does he have lightening reflexes on the field, he is also utterly gorgeous. First introduced in the critically acclaimed Match Me If You Can, Dean is trying to recover (both mentally and physically) from a shoulder injury by taking a road trip. Along the way, he meets Blue, a beautiful woman down on her luck, and as they spend more time together their attraction grows. Blue has had a string of bad relationships and doesn't want to trust Dean right away. But they wind up living together, along with Dean's troubled half-sister, and learn that families and luck work in mysterious ways.

This is a hilarious new novel by New York Times best-selling author Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

What the Critics Say

  • Audie Award Winner, Romance, 2008

"Generously seasoned with plenty of tart humor and snappy dialogue, and graced with a delightfully amusing pair of protagonists trying desperately not to fall in love, Natural Born Charmer is simply irresistible." (Booklist)

    "UGH!!"

This is yet another shallow plotless book ..if you enjoy characters defined by frequent descriptions of what they are wearing, or thoroughly predictable big strong guy saving not so pretty but also very predictable girl, this one is for you! I found it too boring to continue...

    "Another Great Romance"

It might be just another romance - but it's a really great one! Absolutely delightful for the past two dayx and although it is 2:30 on Monday morning and I need to be in a meeting at 8:30 Monday - I'll probably finish the next 43 minutes no matter how bad tomorrow might feel (AND I've got a 12 hour day ahead of me tomorrow). This is my second audible from this author and I really love them. She was recommended from one of my very favorite authors (Diana Gabaldon) and I'm definetly a fan!

    "You will laugh...a lot!"

Less than one chapter into this book, I was laughing so hard at the dialogue that my husband asked me if I was OK. SEP's characters are always great but Dean and Blue really take it to the next level. The supporting cast in this one is also amazing. This is really a tale about a family as a opposed to your run of the mill romance novel. Kudos to SEP for bringing more to the genre.

    "Great Book"

I REALLY enjoyed this book. I had a very long drive (from Southern CA to Portland Or and back to Socal) and listening to this hysterical book made the time and the miles go so much faster. The lady reading the book was great and I found myself laughing out loud! I would highly recommend this story!

    "Highs and Lows"

Here Phillips offers a pretty good story, however, more background on the main female character would have helped me understand her better. I would have loved it if her mother somehow entered the story. But she didn't, giving most of the development to the male lead. There the story is at it's most interesting. The story forces the levity a bit, but it's still a good listen by a reader who has done other Phillips books.

"Chick Lit at its Very Best"

What can I say? When you have Susan Elizabeth Phillips and wonderful Anna Fields Narrating together they = Magic. You cannot go wrong with this writer and narrator. There must be ten or twelve by this pair. Great believable characters you will find you are thinking about long after the story ends .The dialog will have you laughing out loud. You will say 'how does she come up with such wittiness?' ‘I wish I could say those things… ‘
Get all of the titles. You can trust every one. you will be happy and even cry a little but the end is always a feel good one. They are worth every credit.

    "Read after Match Me"

This book uses characters first introduced in Match Me If You Can. It is more of a spin off than a continuation. It is a delightful book full of rich characters and worth the read. Anna Fields is a great narrator. Her voices give you the flavor of the character.
